Add £1 to have your hot chocolates topped with cream, choc chips, mini mallows and a flame toasted mallow; perfect with or without the pumpkin spice syrup 🖤🐇🖤 At Lapin we offer oat and coconut alternative milks at no extra cost, our standard hot chocolate is vegan approved (when selecting an alternative milk).

Thank you everyone who joined us last night, we had such a lovely evening and I know my parents would have loved it 🖤🐇🖤 Also thank you to for the stunning flowers and Fred’s Home Bakers for making these mini version of their fantastic vanilla slices (which Dad used to love) especially for us! They were delicious! Thank you also for my beautiful hand-drawn birthday card and other gifts!

Pop in tomorrow (John’s Birthday) between 4:30 - 6:30pm as we celebrate our one year anniversary and remember John. We’re 14 months old now, but celebrations were delayed due to the unexpected passing of my father.

It’s been further trying times but we’re so grateful for everyone’s help and support in building this little business, and my life-long dream. We couldn’t have done any of this without our lovely customers and your support so thank you so much for everything 🖤🐇🖤

South Bank Street Recycle Takes place tomorrow 12:00 noon to 16:00pm. Pop into Lapin for refreshments en route, we have hot and cold drinks, and savoury and sweet food options, and current customer feedback is that our prices are too low; for those who haven’t been in yet - pop in and explore - we’re cheaper than you think; and our Guinness & Chocolate Cake is in our chiller 🖤🐇🖤 All of our cakes are made in store!

Introducing pressed apple juice made by Abundance (Edible York) - who collect surplus apples from local farms, allotments, orchards and gardens - to prevent waste and support local farming 🖤🐇🖤 This has to be the most delicious apple juice I have ever tasted, and great to be able to support another zero waste organisation. If you have any surplus apples in York, please consider working with Abundance, they also give free fruit donations, and their work is supported by the sales of their juice.

We also had a lovely new customer today who introduced me to their work in waste reduction in York, hopefully more details on this to follow 🖤🐇🖤
