Yesterday we picked up Tammy's wedding dress and half of Chris's suit, everything's coming together brilliant and less than 2 weeks remaining!

We've been very busy with wedding preparations, paying lots of deposits, building up the place and buying lots of bits for on the day.

We have finally confirmed our pre-wedding holiday to Lephalale between Tuesday 23rd January and Thursday 25th January, if you'd like to join us book your room at the Palm Park Hotel!

The count down starts

A wonderful surprise away with the girls for a little pre-wedding fun. Hen do number 2... too spoilt for words

We went bouncing in caves in Wales, followed by games and dinner at the Oakeley Arms Hotel. The next day we went kayaking over the aqueduct on the Shropshire Union Canal.

I (Tammy) was surprised with a lovely mini UK hen do with my Aunt & soon to be mother-in-law. We had a wonderful time around Birmingham. We enjoyed a massage, hot tub, a yummy meal, and drinks in the sky bar. I had plenty of funny questions to answer and a contract to sign that's all very hush hush :D

I felt very spoilt, thank you!

Tammy & her mum went dress shopping yesterday, apparently it was quite successful though I'm not allowed to see pictures...

I know no updates for a while, but we've had three important steps this week. After discussing with our lawyer we have sorted our Prenup (basically required in SA), booked a marriage interview with the SA government (again required) and lastly we met the Dominee (minister) who will officiate our wedding!

We've had the photo's back from the trial photo shot and are very happy!

We have now booked the DJ for the wedding, a local lady named Saska, we have discussed it and we reckon we can power 1.5 of her speakers with our generator :D Now we need a dance floor...

We've just built our wedding arch, now we can grow vines over it for the special day :)

Spoke to the bakery yesterday, we're going to get a small cutting cake and 100 cupcakes! Will be mixing up the flavours!

Today we had Pieter Botha Photography come visit the wedding venue (our farm) for a trial photo shoot, we are very impressed with what we have seen so far, think thats the wedding photographer sorted!
