Keaton started his music career many years ago but adapted the Alias “Grimehouse” in 2012, since then he has received great recognition in a small space of time for his productions and gradually has been breaking the genre chain and developed his own unique style of bass music which has gained him a following of loyal bass lovers around the world. His Debut Album “Magnum Opus” launched on 1st March 2016 with an overwhelming response, sold out over a month BEFORE the release date.
Grimehouse has performed every major festival in the country, topped music charts and independently funded, produced and distributed his own Debut album.
You can say what you want about Cape town's king of bass music…. Grimehouse has been making dreams come true for SA’s youth across dance floors for many years. He has not faltered, changed or adhered to the norm. He has remained the guy you go watch live that blows the roof of any venue or festival. The world has gone through many changes in genres and artists have jumped ship and played it safe…. Grimehouse has not, He has not faltered from his core beliefs. Work harder than everyone else and believe in your sound.
Introducing his second album MERAKI. Early feedback suggests this is a masterpiece from the cape town bass king. He has infused genres, worked with the top vocalists that is sure to have people speaking about the beauty of the production for years to come!
