Africa is home to the world's oldest known fossil of a modern human. The fossil, known as the Omo Kibish Formation 1, is estimated to be around 195,000 years old and was discovered in southern Ethiopia.

This discovery is significant because it pushes back the estimated time of the emergence of anatomically modern humans by around 50,000 years.

*Interesting burial rites tradition of the Jukuns race in Taraba State*

The youths on procession for the final traditional transition Pankiya of late Aku-Uka of Wukari. His co**se was mounted on the horse supported by somebody on horse moving to Nando to join his ancestors .
At a point to Nando, only the person on the horse with co**se will advance to Nando and the person may not return alive.
The sum of N5million was offered to his family.
In Yoruba land, this is what is known as "Abobaku.
