When I share my daily affirmations on my WhatsApp status and people respond, I always presume they are affirming along with me and don’t make much of it. However, a couple of conversations with one of the ladies in The Fabulous Woman Community got me thinking…

Her: Please, yesterday you didn’t post.
Me: Hello Milady, you missed it😀
Her: I always go and read it every morning…Please don't forget to post every morning🙈🙈

A week later…
Her: Please you didn’t post today.
Me: I did.
Her: Please can you share with me?

I took a screenshot for her and then asked myself. Why was I sharing my daily affirmations on my status and in our Facebook group? Was it so others could affirm them along with me or did I ultimately want those who follow to create their own? And so I promptly shared with her this episode of Mind Your Business https://youtu.be/kGajzs9ocI4 in which I explain the rationale behind these affirmations.

I’ve been journaling since I was an adolescent. Adding affirmations to my journaling as an adult has been a real game changer, helping me relax, stay positive and most importantly trust God on this journey called life. I highly recommend it if you need it. Please watch this episode and may you receive whatever is in it for you.

Have a fabulous weekend!

I feel so privileged to be a Trainer. Through my work, I get to experience a lot of the things I value in life.

One day I would be training a group of leaders at a multinational company, the next I would be spending time in some remote village with factory workers.

One minute I’d be waking up in the most amazing bed in a five star hotel with unbelievable views, the next I’d be sleeping in a tent somewhere in the jungle.

One time I used a certain washroom in an underserved community. When I was done, I realized how disgusting it was and was shocked that I just used it without complaining. I mean I was just so grateful to have access to one!

Sometimes I get to the venue via a plush Airbus A380. Other times it’s a rugged taxi which leaves me halfway with my luggage because the road is bad🤦🏾‍♀️

I especially love it when those who hire me give me the flexibility to bring ‘all of me’ to the training.

I love that we can make learning fun and healing even.

I love co-creating and learning with participants.

I love it when we can stay in touch and even collaborate with participants. We have a Fab Youth Camp in Asiwa through a leadership program I facilitated.

I love the ‘me time’ I get when I’m away.

I love listening to stories of people from different backgrounds.

It’s always a beautiful varied experience and for that, I’m so grateful 🥰

We are feeling grateful for a remarkable day at the Fab Youth Camp's special edition on Wednesday 5th June, 2024!

At Fab Hub Ashanti, we had the honor of hosting Aboabo Kesse J.H.S3 students for a Fab Youth Camp Special Edition, upon the request of their headmistress Ms. Doris Nkrumah.

Ms. Antoinette Gyan, a seasoned Communication and Career Consultant traveled from Accra to guide the students on their post-school journey and how to make the important decisions ahead.

Also present were some CAMFED Alumni, Lady Evelyn Mensah-Attah and Fati Lamin, of The Fabulous Woman Community.

To everyone who made this event special, God bless you abundantly. All glory to God for the success of this enriching experience!

“Hi ladies, small testimony here. So you remember last year Ama dropped this link https://youtu.be/U7HlIwGxigQ. When I watched, the part about tithing just kind of jump-started me a bit.
I had always been a tither but somehow I kind of fell behind so I decided to start again.
I did July and August and by September I was making 5 times my income.
So where I was paying say 50$ a month, I found myself paying 250$ a month!
Recently I told God that I want to go 5 times more again and I'm literally seeing open doors everywhere.
I'm looking forward to the figure I will pay this month. I know that God never fails.
I just thought I'd share.
Have a blessed week sisters ❤️”

Miladies, this was shared by one of my AWEC mentees-turned-sister in our group a couple of weeks ago. See what God can do!

I just thought I should share this video from Dr. David Kelvin Amoo Osae Jr during iFAB 2022 again because we all need the consistent reminder.

As yet another month ends, I hope you stay fabulously well especially in your financial wellness.

Yesterday upon the invitation of Apostle Eric Osei, I had a beautiful mothers’ day at the Love Encounter Faithwalk Church in Kumasi.

I spoke on the theme: Wo(men) ought to pray always and not faint. Luke 18: 1 - 8

I 💕💕💕 the entire process of preparing and delivering on an activity which is so dear to me: prayer!

Did you know that pray/prayer is mentioned over 650 times in the NIV Bible? Yep, it’s that important.

And I kid you not, the 2 roles which have taught me more about prayer (and faith in God) have been motherhood and entrepreneurship!

Motherhood is truly a beautiful experience and I wish all women the very best in our pursuit of grooming others to pursue their purpose on earth.

Belated happy mothers’ day!

*’What would you do today for which your future self will be proud of?’*

I find myself asking this question over and over, especially when I need to find motivation from within. I’m glad that Ps. Matrilla made a statement to this effect during my Mind Your Business https://youtu.be/BCvEE6EBhAg interview with her.

There was something else that she said that was profound for me and I’ll keep that to myself while trusting that when you also listen, you’ll get your share of aha moments.

Ps. Matrilla Barnes Hall is a wife, mother, podcaster and author. She has over 22 years of experience in the Health and Wellness industry. Together with her husband, they pastor a church in Georgia and Alabama, United States. She has a passion for food, people and justice.

Talking with Jay Abrafi Gyebi on Mind Your Business https://youtu.be/3eSonWUK85A reminded me of one thing; the business of cooking is a huge deal!

From cooking for the likes of Twitter CEO to recently opening a new branch of Mukase Chic and then starting her project - Culinary for Social Change, etc, this lady is on fire!

I can’t help but admire my fellow 2017 Mandela Washington Fellow. Sitting with her for this conversation was really good for me and I hope it blesses you too.

Enjoy and remain fabulous today and always!

🌟iFAB2024 Feedback from Participants🌟

“On financial wellness what i took with me are….
1. Always interrogate a problem or situation and the person before giving out any help with money.

2. I should teach others how to fish for themselves so they dont always depend on me for survival.

3. Have the abundance mentality and speak positivity.

4. My mindset for financial wellness should be to leave a legacy. Thus, I need to create and build a financial blueprint for my life.

These are the few points I took away.
Thank you for the opportunity, I really enjoyed it🤗🤗”

🌟iFAB2024 Feedback from Participants🌟

“Day 1( From what I came to meet from Maame Afon’s session)
1. Things that happen to me actually affect all areas of my life. Especially how I function as a business owner. As such I must ensure that any bad experience or traumatic experience I encounter is dealt with and not just shoved aside and assume everything will just be alright.

From day 2:
1. I came to the realization that I am not “really fine” in the area of personal finances and this was mainly because I haven’t been intentional about creating wealth and was taking life as it came. As such I have to be intentional about creating and using a budget, saving, having an investment and also a retirement plan.
2. Another key takeaway for me was to “Give from my teacup and not my saucer”. And for me it wasn’t really about money but my time. I end up worrying about everyone else and trying to make sure that they are okay. And that any assistance they need from me, I sacrifice my time to get it done for them. And this sometimes affects my work as well as it sometimes also eats into my work time as well as having no personal time. As such I am going to dedicate a time where it will strictly be for me and and alone so that I can adequately keep functioning well.

Day 3:
It was nice to get to know the history behind some of our traditional dances and also get in on the action. Forgetting all the work I have to do and just unwinding and having fun🙂💃🏽”
