After much consideration after today's incident. The Gibraltar Reggaeton Festival management team would like to confirm that Original Eliass performance at tonight's festival has been cancelled.

Due to this Mocho Chavea will perform together with Bandaga

Statement regarding Original Elias Instagram Story comment

We understand that today a instagram story was posted on the Original Elias page where it was mentioned that Gibraltar is Espanol.

After contacting the artist directly, Original Elias has confirmed that this was indeed his cousin Pedro who made this comment as a passing joke, and was not intended, in any way to be insulting to the people of Gibraltar.

Original Elias has publicy apologised, as seen in the video in this post, as well as his cousin for the comment. He understands that he is coming to Gibraltar which is in no way, Spanish.

On behalf of the Gibraltar Reggeaton Management team we would like to apologise if this has upset anyone. We are looking forward to hosting Gibraltar’s first reggaeton event, it’s going to be the hottest event this winter!
