My name is Pa Musa Jallow, but most people know me as Black Moose. I was born and raised in Sweden, with roots in Bakau, Gambia.

I’ve seen the heated debates online between rappers and DJs, and honestly, it’s sad. Fame should bring humility and groundedness because, in the end, we all end up in the same place. We have many talented Gambian DJs across Europe who are making a bigger impact than some of those in Gambia—and they’re not bragging about it.

For the first time, I’ll say this: when some Gambian DJs come to Europe for their so-called tours, they often end up playing in small venues with poor sound or at mini-bars. What’s there to brag about? Have you ever seen any of them draw a crowd like I do? I doubt it. And if they did, they’d probably post it every day on WhatsApp.

To my brothers: work in silence, work hard, and stay humble. We’re streaming millions on Spotify, and we thank Allah for it every day.

Some Gambian DJs don’t see me as one of their own, and some have even said it to my face. I just smile, shake my head, and walk away.

Why did Vybz Kartel go to Jail ?

Vybz Kartel was in jail for over 15 years and was only released last week .

Many Genz’s might not know who he is . Vybz Kartel was the biggest Jamaican dancehall artiste , Gangster and a Kartel runner .He collaborated with Jay Z , Major Laser and Rihanna . Drake even has a T shirt with his Face on it .

So why did he go to Jail ? He was arrested around 2011 for the dead of one of his Gang members called LIZARD . In 2010 Vybz Kartel was in his house and when he checked his Gún collection he discovered one was missing . He called all the Gang members to come and he question them . Lizard was the only one who didn’t come so he suspected he was the one with the guns .

Vybz called him later that day and didn’t even asked him if he took the güns , he pretended as if nothing was wrong . Invited him over and said there were some girls and drinks home and yeah he will want them to enjoy . LIZARD fell for it . Came over and that was the last time the neighbors ever heard from him . They looked for him every where and couldn’t see him . Rumor has it that Vybz Kartel and his gang chopped him into pieces and kept him in the freezer and no one could ever recognize. Police investigations pointed just to him and he was arrested in 2011 , sentenced to life imprisonment for the Múrder of LIZARD .

2024 something happened , one thing let to the other and he was FREED.

His first word to the youths was “Stay out of crime , don’t waste your life “ .

Vybz is now free but suffering from and illness . His doctors are cueeently doing their best.
