Η ζωγραφική είναι χρώμα, η μουσική είναι νότες, η ποίηση λέξεις, η φωτογραφια είναι φως!
Η Τέχνη γενικότερα, έχει να κάνει με τη ζωή. Φυσικά και χρησιμοποιεί εργαλεία για να πετύχει το σκοπό της, όμως απορρέει από το ανθρώπινο πνεύμα και απευθύνεται σ’ αυτό. Έχει να κάνει με τον άνθρωπο και την ανθρώπινη κατάσταση, έστω κι αν στο έργο δεν υπάρχει ίχνος ανθρώπου.

λέπεις.
Βλέπεις τον κόσμο μέσα από το φακό σου και ανακαλύπτεις κάτι το οποίο δεν είχες δει πιο πριν.
Ανακαλύπτουμε άγνωστα (μέχρι στιγμής) συναισθήματά μας απέναντι στη φωτογραφία και τον κόσμο.
Αυτό το κατι που υπαρχει στην φωτογραφία, αναδύεται από αυτήν και αγγίζει το μυαλό, την καρδιά και το πνεύμα με τρόπο που δεν μπορείς να περιγράψεις με λόγια.
Με αυτόν τον ιδιαίτερο τρόπο που μόνο η Τέχνη μπορεί να συγκινήσει. Of course it uses tools to achieve its goal, but it arises from the human spirit and it addresses to it. It has to do with humans and the human status, although in the work there isn’t a single human touch on it. You see the world through your lens and you discover something that you have never seen before. We discover unknown (to us) emotions towards the photography and the world. That special something which exists in the photograph rises from it and touches the mind, the heart and the spirit in a way indescribable with words. With that special way only art can awaken the emotions

Ο κύριος Κώστας, στα 93 του χρόνια, είναι μια ζωντανή μαρτυρία της παράδοσης της Σκοπέλου.
Ξεκίνησε να ασχολείται με την κτηνοτροφία ακολουθωντας τα χνάρια του πατερα του όταν ήταν μόλις 15 ετών, και από τότε η ζωή του είναι στενά συνδεδεμένη με τη φύση και τα ζώα.
Η καθημερινότητά του είναι γεμάτη από απλές, παραδοσιακές συνήθειες. Ξυπνά νωρίς το πρωί, για να φροντίσει τα κατσίκια του, να τα οδηγήσει στους βοσκότοπους και να σιγουρευτεί ότι έχουν τροφή και νερό.
Η σχέση του με τα ζώα είναι στενή και εμπιστευτική, έχοντας περάσει μαζί τους πάνω από επτά δεκαετίες.

In today's photograph, we see Monk Theodosios at the Monastery of St. John the Baptist, looking over the final details of his creation, which will require a few more hours for completion after three months of work on this masterpiece.
The monk iconographer holds one of the most important roles in a monastery, as through his art, he preserves and expresses the spiritual heritage of the Orthodox Church. Iconography is not merely a form of art, but a way of prayer and the transmission of divine mystery. The monk, living in humility and devotion, follows the tradition of Byzantine iconography, adhering to specific rules and models developed over the centuries.
While working, he constantly prays, seeking God's grace to guide him so that the image he creates may be a true reflection of divine light. This spiritual process is a path of purification and inner search, as each brushstroke requires attention, patience, and respect for the sacred object.
The life of the monk iconographer is characterized by simplicity and austerity. His daily routine is dedicated to prayer, fasting, and working in his workshop, where he creates icons intended for worship and to inspire the faith of those who venerate them. He views his work as a continual offering to God and his fellow humans, as through his art, he conveys messages of hope, faith, and salvation.
