The uniqueness of this venue is what makes it so cool! Santo Domingo is located in Guatemala City (no, it’s not the same as Hotel Casa Santo Domingo in Antigua). It features a church right next to the event area where you can host your wedding reception.
Plus, they allow access to the church’s cupolas, giving you the opportunity to capture some incredible photos!

If you’ve seen pictures or videos of Villa Bokeh and are considering it as a wedding venue but don’t know much about its spaces, here’s a little guide:
Villa Bokeh is a Relais & Châteaux property with a French-inspired style. It features a luxurious hotel where you and your guests can stay and offers several distinct areas, each perfect for hosting different types of events.
Let’s take a closer look at some of them:
The Garden: This area is located next to the pool. It requires a tent and is ideal for weddings with more than 100 guests. Adjacent to it, there’s a beautiful outdoor space perfect for ceremonies surrounded by nature.
Casa Cristal: This versatile space is perfect for events ranging from brunches or welcome dinners to ceremonies or receptions for weddings with up to 100 guests.
The Terrace: This spot is great for a cocktail hour with breathtaking views of the Agua Volcano and the hotel as a stunning backdrop.
Casa del Alma: This dreamy space is ideal for intimate dinners, proposals, or elopements.

🌿In the imagination of many, when they think of tropical decor, they often picture a very saturated concept—vibrant colors full of flowers and elements. But for couples who truly connect with tropical vibes, there is a way to create a wedding design that remains elegant, minimal, and tropical.

The key, in my opinion, lies in the textures and the balance of colors. To me, tropical means green, not colorful. For example, in Adam and Jess’s wedding, we used various types of green plants—monsteras, ferns, banana leaves, orchids, and even green fruits like bananas and the outer skin of a papaya.
The color of the flowers and candles adds a pop of color and focus. Another element that really complements the tropical aesthetic is something rustic and simple, like the design of the chairs, the candle bases, the wicker carpets, or the exterior of a pineapple.
