SLAP 拍, 2/F Spark City Mong Kok, 25 Tong Mi Road, Kowloon (2025)

Slap is a community for electronic dance music and other arts centred in Hong Kong. Slap hosts a cafe, exhibition space and nightclub in a 150-capacity venue with elevated ceilings set to open in Mong Kok, Kowloon. The nightclub’s programming is eclectic, promoting the growth of local talent and is a platform for sonic and visual experimentation. Slap welcomes international visitors, artists and DJs.

Tomorrow, night alongside Just Bee and her friends we welcome Hyberdub’s Shannen SP from London. Her high energy DJ sets explore the global club sounds, bridging the gaps between gqom, kuduro, house, bass, and afro-centric sounds including amapiano.

We’re hyped to welcome her to our club following club and festival sets globally including at: Berghain, Fabric, Dekmantel Selectors, Uganda’s Nyege Nyege, Glastonbury, and Draiimolen.

Heads up! The forward thinking selector is a dropping a compilation next month with the Colombian label Tratratrax, which features original music from DJ Lag, State OFFF, Jay Music and more, featuring collaborations between South African and Latin American artists.

Tomorrow night, we welcome 𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗔 back to Hong Kong for their first club performance in the city!

Canadian SENAIDA is a multidisciplinary artist. Their work explores themes of sonic cyberfeminism, posthumanism, generative art and sustainability to create collective experiences through sound via her New York WE ARE THE FUTURE! collective and other collaborative projects in North America and globally. 來自加拿大的SENAIDA — We Are The Future 主理人及Producer，專注人歌合一的藝術體驗，融合高頻glitch脈衝及Techno的機械節拍生成女權主義及後人類主義，輸出集體神經同步化。

兩個房間聲音縫合交錯出神秘而華麗的數碼殘響，色音慾交融誘惑你探索未知，感受那份撕開黑夜的純粹與炙熱。

站在分界線上，成為這場情慾測試的唯一實驗體。

Having performed at Boiler Room in Taiwan, resident of Final & Oil as well as playing around the world, Sulk is not just a simple layering of sounds — his retro feel of New Beat connects with the heart chilling melodies of Post-Club & Coldwave, mixed with hard techno and subtle Asian music culture, creating a collision of raw sound waves.

R channel, Canadian artist *SENAIDA* ✧ creates a personal stance with sound.
SENAIDA, founder and producer of NY’s We Are The Future, focuses on the art experience of unity in music and humanity, blending high-frequency glitch pulses with mechanical techno beats to create works exploring sonic cyberfeminism and post-humanism.

The sounds from the two rooms intertwine to create a mysterious and magnificent digital echo, a fusion of colour and sound that tempts you to explore the unknown, feeling the purity and intensity that tears through the night.

Standing on the dividing line, becoming the only experimental subject in this test of desire.
