Tonight, Berlin’s Sachsentrance storms SLAP 拍 with fast, euphoric trance, featuring The Jakob Sister and Blame The Booker. They are joined by Hong Kong’s Omega-G and Nanjing’s Fischmonger.

Sachsentrance is a German trance collective and label that focuses on organizing vibrant, joyful trance parties with fast, euphoric music. They aim to create a welcoming, safe space where everyone can freely express themselves while respecting others’ boundaries.

8 March: Berlin’s womb-like living room, q***r ambient bar kwia arrives at SLAP 拍 as part of its Asian tour. Residents MIAN and roomie LIL RISK will amplify kwia’s signature ambience into rhythmically charged territory, weaving bold experimental pulses into their introspective textures.

Born from the communal ethos of Tokyo’s Jazz Kissa (ジャズ喫茶) listening rooms, kwia has redefined Berlin’s nightlife as a sanctuary for slow, intentional connection. Shoes-off policies, wabi-sabi-inspired interiors, and dim lighting create a space where volume yields to nuance—a philosophy Resident Advisor calls “a radical act of slowness in a city that never sleeps.”

For International Women’s Day, MIAN and LIL RISK, with local artists EEVEE and Misty Penguin, will craft a sonic journey where vulnerability meets femme strength. You’re invited to sit, dance, or just listen in this safe space.

We’ve invited Omega-G back to play at our club this Friday night. It’s her second time here after playing B2B with our very own MZee earlier in the month.

Since beginning her journey behind the decks only a couple years ago, Omega-G has become one of the most exciting new underground DJs in HK. Fearless and committed, her sets are a bold exploration of sound - her hardcore sets push boundaries (and sound systems)!

Experience weaponised happiness this Friday at SLAP 拍 with the low-threshold euphoria of Sachsentrance’s The Jakob Sister and Blame The Booker, along with Fischmonger, the founder of Hammer – one of China’s most hardcore party promoters.

Friday 28.02, we’ve invited Germany’s The Jakob Sister and Blame The Booker - two girl bosses of Germany’s hardcore/gabber/hard trance collective Sachsentrance, Fischmonger (Nanjing) and Omega-G (HK).

The Jakob Sister brings Berlin’s raw, sweat-drenched trance, infused with hard dance, acid, and neo-rave. Alongside her, Blame The Booker revives the anarchic spirit of ’90s rave, blending gabber, hard trance, and eurodance. With bouncy BPMs and nostalgic samples, this “gangster-girly” DJ adds humor that cuts through everyday monotony.

JVSY, the producer DJ duo of Jovin Lee and Atlas Iu (also known as BURN and telvanni26), embraces this chaos. They blend organic instruments and found sounds to create a signature cinematic sound, gaining recognition for their techno-driven music and cross-genre explorations.

This Friday night, SLAP 拍 proudly invites Greece‘s multidisciplinary artist Evita Manji to Hong Kong for the first time. They are joined by local duo JVSY who will play a live set and DJs Jeremy Cheung and Samo.

Athens musician Evita Manji is part of a new wave of underground club music producers in Athens - releases include the 2022 ’Spandrel?‘ on PAN and feature on the 2024 ’Berlin Nightmare‘ from their late partner SOPHIE.

Born and raised in Changsha, China during the pandemic, MO7 Recordings was founded by Murcor in 2020. Despite the bleak circumstances, Murcor set out to cultivate a forward-thinking drum & bass scene in the canvas of China, building on Unchained Asia’s beginnings.

Expect deep, experimental and technical drum & bass beats from Koherent, a dynamic duo known for their innovative sounds and precision. Joining them will be Hijak MC, Murcor, local legend JFÜNG, and more dynamic power from Hong Kong and mainland China.

Fri 14.02, from 10pm: Vs. for Valentine’s Day. 10 HK-based DJs back-to-back in 5 B2B DJ sets for bass heavy battle. Featuring these duos: 50/50 vs. Immuno, Gong! vs. Joesnotdead, MZee vs. Omega G, Kali vs. Mattisnowhere, and Zamsee vs. 王若迷.

Sat 15.02: We‘ve just dropped a special All Day, All Night pass for these two parties. At HKD 448 for both, we’ve got a festival-like line-up from 4pm-5am

- From 4pm, UK underground DJ Madam X is joined by Just Bee and Shanda for genre-defying lineup, presented by Omni and Mixmag Asia.

- From 11pm, Changsha’s MO7 Recordings takes over Hong Kong with UK DnB duo Koherent and hype man Hijak MC, plus an eclectic lineup of HK and mainland China based DJs: Murcor (CA), JFÜNG, 1N., 51%, Dickey, Lan Fang, Lucy Fallen, Ming Jai, and Purrppl. 7th Feb：SLAP 拍 首次presents Psy-Sonic 系列，以hitech與dark psy的音樂類型為主軸，為大家介紹迷幻系不同的聲音。Darkpsy 和 Hitech 都是迷幻音樂文化中的重要組成部分，各自擁有獨特的風格和特點。Darkpsy 更加注重陰暗和神秘的氛圍，而 Hitech 則以其快速的節奏和高能量的音效而受到喜愛。這兩種風格都在全球的電子音樂派對和音樂節中佔有一席之地，吸引著不同的聽眾群體。

本次Psy-Sonic邀請了5位本地地下dark psy及hitech 的DJ，包括:

NoXx3 即以幽柔的旋律克制著燥動，在精神之中迷離地推進。她認為「一首歌最吸引嘅時候係有很大部分的聲音都令自己沉醉，卻又有一部分唔係自己鍾意嘅聲，但係美好的部分無法忽視，令人可以忍受不完美嘅位，去感受更加珍貴的幸福。」

R.W.-RAINBOW 猶如一股自然的力量，她以獨特的動態節奏和富有感染力的能量吸引觀眾。她穿越Forest、Twilight 和Full-On Psytrance流派的領域，從她的旅程和聲音冒險中汲取靈感，她的音樂作品融合了不同的樂器和自然聲音元素和節奏。每組舞蹈都是精心製作的敘事，營造出令人振奮、令人著迷的舞蹈音景。

Tfeelscary
Tfeelscary 是Dropsound的創辦人之一，Darkpsy是他主要涉獵範疇包括。選曲主要為滿，強而有力的鼓，大量刺激大腦的音頻，眾人都隨音樂墮入他的領域，不知不覺間被恐懼包圍，再融入抽象的聲音樣本和超現實世界的氛圍，探索恐懼和未知的精神世界深淵。
