We love garden-to-vase experience so much! We grow for the planet to absorb CO2, and we enjoy floral arrangement with our flowers direct from garden, saving lots of carbon emission via transportation.

What’s unique? We love the changing color transition of hydrangeas freshly cut from our garden, its transition color blends the pastel arrangement with comfort and harmony. The sharp orange garden rose also brings out the contrast to vivid colors!

We choose to pause a while for 6 months, and spend the time on studying ecology / sustainability / innovation and visiting beautiful spaces in UK filled with well-protected big trees and well-maintained gardeners.

We are truly inspired and recharged to move on

Florist Tasting Classes
(Basic 101)

Learning makes us happy! Learning and playing with fresh blossoms is a great way to wake up our five sensations, enjoy living at the moment, and wake up our mind and souls.

This series of “Florist Tasting Class” is designed for beginners who want to learn more systemic way about flower knowledge, mechanical skills and design elements.

We aim to recruit talented and passionate individuals as our community florists from these classes too!

Be good to yourself, come join us, and make quality interconnections with blossoms and beautiful souls in and outside our Ma Wan community.

Class 1 :
Work : Hand-tied bouquet
Knowledge : How to choose right mix of bouquet flowers for different occasions

Class 2 :
Work : Dining table arrangement
Knowledge : Learn using chicken wire to arrange the flowers

Class 3 :
Work : Flower wreath arrangement
Knowledge : Pick the right flowers for foam arrangement

Class 4 :
Work : Group creation of modern table scape
Knowledge : creating as a group work together and enjoy a celebration lunch together with your work

What’s better than making homemade roselle jam and candied fruits at T8, even better with kids to play this game. Limited supply of organic roselle grown by local farmers. WhatsApp 6016 1751 to reserve. Recipe 1: Homemade organic Roselle Jam Ingredients: 500g fresh roselle, 150g organic brown sugar How to: 1. Cut the bottom of roselles and take out its ovule (核)with a chopstick. Or just peel of its petal with hands if you kids would like to help out and leave aside the ovules. 2. To collect roselles’ natural pectin, put its ovules in a saucepan with water just cover the ovules. Boil it for 20 minutes until the ovules become semi-transparent. 3. Sift the ovules from pectin liquid and put roselle flowers in the liquid. Turn to medium/small heat, cook roselle flowers for 15 minutes, keep stirring it. 4. Add sugar, keep stirring it until it reaches the texture you like (whether you like the jam to be chunky or smooth, it’s up to you). Boil it for a longer time if you like it smooth. 5. Pot into hot sterilized jars, seal, and label (the date you make it). *You may spread your homemade roselle jam on your bread, ice-cream or add into soda water to make a summer/autumn fresh drink, or pour it on vanilla ice-cream. And enjoy its sweet and sour flavor! P.S. You have to put enough sugar, as a natural preservative, to ensure its storage period. Taste it when you are approaching done. If you still taste its sourness, add some more sugar. Remember its sweetness reduces when it becomes cool or refridged.
