A big shout out and congratulations goes to my man for his successful hip-hop related exhibition. After 40 years of putting in work, promoting the game, collaborating with various hip-hop names, and collecting outstanding memorabilia, this event crowns his long-lasting career and influence on the scene. ⚡️

One cannot express how much incredible stuff is displayed, and it ain't even a half of it. So much amazing history. 🌎

The exhibition lasts until the 21st of March, so be sure to swing by the Hungarian Cultural Center on the European Square in Zagreb. 🏢
Don't miss the first floor too as it features many interesting memorabilia from the Hungarian hip-hop scene - shout out 🇭🇺

Uncle Phil, once again, congrats on this huge milestone. The whole project is superbly carried out.

This year marks the fifth year I'm part of the crew. In those five years a lot has happened, from small-time news and short articles to full reviews, interviews, and official press releases, but also great gigs like warm-ups for legends like , & , and then some. When looking back, as a dude with no journalistic background and that type of education, with gathered experience over the years my impact through the written word is now ever-growing.

As Snoop said "I wanna thank me" - for pushing my own boundaries all the time and not saying that I can't do something for which I had little to no knowledge. All I do is self-taught ish, but half of the stuff wouldn't be a part of my life without the support and advices I was given by many.

That being said, I wanna thank me wife for being a supportive pillar in all I do, sharing a ton of suggestions and critiques, within and outside her area of expertise. That shared knowledge and neutral point of view has been a great deal of help.

Also, a big thank you goes to my friend and mentor for giving me a chance in Blackout and through time sharing a number of advices on how to do things. Some of his inputs and propositions as subtle hints were something that subconsciously was guiding me these past years, which eventually led me to certain b'ness moves and projects in and outside of hip-hop. Can't put a price on that.

I need to extend my graditude to some of my friends and colleagues for supporting my work and, in the same time, giving friendly advices on how to improve. TTT

Like in the past four years, this one was full of everything. Various gigs, promoting the newest album by , among some reviews a worldwide exclusive of latest project by Detroit's , meeting one of my fav producers , and soon I'll be on my way with me band to one of the most important blues festivals in Europe - .

Thank you all for reading my ish and sharing your music with me. I may not be as active with them articles as before due to other obligations, but I'm still kickin'.

Predstavljamo 38. izvođača koji će nastupati na D'n'B United vol. 2, a njegovo ime je RE:TRO FLAVA.

Re:tro flava, pravim imenom Irvin Štral, hrvatski je DJ, hip-hop aficionado, sveopći ljubitelj glazbe, glazbeni novinar, PR i bend menadžer rođen u Umagu. Svoju karijeru simbolično započinje 2008. godine u Rijeci na prosvjedima kada je na kultnom Kontu, uz par prijatelja, na improviziranom soundsystemu selektorski puštao muziku što je ujedno i začetak njegovog prvog kolektiva Gerila Kru. Nakon odseljenja u Novi Sad uzima ime Re:tro flava i ubrzo započinje rad s novim kolektivom Real Onez, te sa sve većim brojem nastupa po raznim barovima, klubovima i festivalima kroz regiju stvara reputaciju žanrovski svestranog DJ-a s naglaskom na hip-hop i drum’n’bass, dok svoj glazbeni izbor opisuje kao ‘vintage, retro i modernu eskapadu’. Re:tro flava je također član Blackout Hip Hop uredništva, te se uz DJ-ing i novinarstvo usmjerava na glazbeni marketing i PR radeći kao bendovski menadžer.

Yet again I'm a part of the "Preach The Rič" hip-hop festival, both as an artist and a journalist. Last year was a blast, so this year we're going stronger. 💪
