At home. I’ve been home for a whole week.

Usually, I feel so inspired that I want to share the beauty around me non-stop. But this time, everything feels different. So much sad news, so many strikes on civilian targets, so many deaths of Ukrainians — everything is on pause.

Maybe the war is no longer as relevant in the news in Europe — I live in Debrecen, and I know this. But it torments us every day and touches everyone. Life, of course, goes on, as it must. We have to endure and focus on how we can help: by growing, working, donating, and keeping our morale strong so we can support others.

It's the first Sunday of Advent today, marking the beginning of the Christmas countdown – just 4 weeks until Christmas. One more workday, and then I'm off for the holidays to be with my parents.🥳

Gifts are nearly ready, and wrapped with care to have opportunity to hand over them to Ukraine to my beloved ones.💝

It is a good tactic though)😉

When the Christmas frenzy takes over the shops, I'll be cozy at home, sipping cocoa, and diving into my new online course.🤭

The Christmas mood doesn't just appear, it must be created. My challenge is not to buy a lot of decor for a rented apartment but to do what I can with what I have.

Advent candles with numbers are already sold out in stores, so I bought wax felt-tip pens. While watching a movie, we painted candles and crafted an Ekiban advent with fresh christmas tree branches.🙂
