Malaysia is the melting pot of the culture of Asia, and that's what makes Malaysia Truly Asia. 🇲🇾 The concept of this national costume is based on the mixture of both traditional Malay Kebaya & Nyonya Kebaya of Peranakan Melaka & Penang, with some element from Chinese culture (golden head piece of Dunhuang culture, Dunhuang is the cradle of Buddhism, which is one of the religion for most Chinese in Malaysia. Element of Dunhuang can be found in most of the Buddhist temples such as the famous Kek Lok Si in Malaysia) and India culture (Colour of green and peacock blue brings out the colour of peacock. Peacock feathers have great significance in the most popular region among Indian in Malaysia - Hinduism. The elements of peocok is often seen during the Indian festive such as Rangoli during Deepavali).
