September - Wow.
It wasn’t until this morning when I woke up to start Day 2 of this wedding I’ve been working on in Sumba that I realised just turned 12!
Twelve years ago I started this company that has brought so many memories, friends, lessons and triumphs.
Every wedding I complete, I learn something new. I guess that’s why I haven’t gotten bored of it yet - as those of you who know me well will know my attention span isn’t great and I rarely commit to things.
Plus I’m a firm believer that if you’ve stopped learning new things in your profession, you probably shouldn’t be doing it anymore.
This latest wedding at Nihi was a humbling experience to show there’s always room for growth, that challenges are there to help us improve and that when you give it your all, you get it back 100 fold.
Plan A has continued to evolve, change and grow and I couldn’t be happier.
None of it would be possible without my incredible team who are the heart and soul of my company, the vendors and venues who, without them, nothing would be possible, the insanely fun couples I seem to attract who trust me with their day, and my close friends and family, who have supported me from day one.
Happy birthday to my baby Plan A and thank you to everyone who’s been a part of this journey 🖤🖤🖤
