Home from a day of doing spring wedding flowers. Really pleased with how these home grown beauties looked. Not sure I'm cut out to be a wedding florist, what a lot of work 😁. Is it too early for bed?

I'm cutting and conditioning flowers and foliage this morning for a yellow and white reception. The cherry blossom has perfect timing hooray!

This was a thankyou arrangement with tulips and ranunculus that I made for the lovely Ann who protected and fed Dingles yesterday. It's impossible to express how grateful I am to this kind lady.

Emptied the kiln this morning. I'm learning so very slowly in isolation with you tube!! But every pot and not quite right thing is a step forwards. I'll be drinking tea from and planting up my very own wonky donkeys later!! Fired using solar power!

Half the ranunculus in the poly sunshine today. I love all the yellow and oranges. It's so wild the way they transform in sunshine from looking like peony's to being the buttercups they are. Love them, itching to cut them for a yellow and white reception on Saturday.

This is a bouquet I've wanted to do for year, my absolute fave and huge orange parot tulips. I don't normally ever cut them because they are royalty, but...look what they can do!!
I'll never understand why the wedding industry is so focused on pink .
Roll up outsiders..lovers of oranges and yellows, gothic purples and red.. let's show what we can do.

Totally love a sunny day, hot water for baths,vit d and fun outside but not least because I can fire my big kiln for free, yippee using solar power to transform mud into pots. It's a great feeling when the solar panels have a productive day.

A few more tiles before bed. Back on the shelf as figures and the right glaze colours are hard.
Hoping for a sunny day to run the kiln on the solar panels. And to defrost toes.

I was doing some glazing this afternoon, some tiles I've made for the kitchen, it was unexpectedly upsetting as they had paw prints from my lovely Poggy . I made them days before he was killed. My world fell apart which is why it's more than a year between making and glazing. How vile scumbags ruin lives. Miss you my lovely boy.

It's raining and do I've been busy refining some of my ladies beeswax and making a new batch of calendula and propolis deep healing bars, ready for a summer of hardworking hands.
I'll have some to go into my webshop and via the next week if your hands need some tlc.

WEDDING DATES STILL AVAILABLE FOR 2022 ROSSCOMMON VENUES.

We still have wedding dates available for summer flower weddings in June (includes roses) and July (includes dahlias) , a couple of dahlia weddings in august and September. dried flower weddings in oct and November and the first weekend in Dec for a Christmas themed winter wedding.

Bridal party flowers are still available for tulip season mid may
foxglove and blue cornflowers in June.

and DIY flower buckets will be available to order from Mid May
