Castlebar Celtic are Connacht Cup Champions 2024!

Congratulations to everyone involved on a great win after just missing out last year. A super game of football which could have went either way. Castlebar had multiple chances in the second half to see the game out but just couldn’t convert. Thank you to our match day officials from ISRS Sligo / Leitrim. We would also like to thank the RDFL for providing the facilities and ensuring a safe and efficient ground for all the crowd today.

The crowd really made the game today with every tackle and pass being cheered like a goal.

Commiserations to Maree / Oranmore in what was their first ever Connacht Cup final at this level. There is no doubt there is trophies in that young team.

That also brings an end to the season for us. Thank you for all your support throughout the year and we look forward to going again next year!

Moyne Villa are this year’s Men’s Connacht Shield Champions! In an absolutely cracking game of football they came out the better of Westport United in Umbro Park, securing the shield with a 3-1 win!

A massive congratulations to Moyne Villa and all their hard work in the last few years leading up to this moment.

Thanks to everyone for coming out today in what turned out to be a great day!
