📅July starts the second half of the year, so share your thoughts – what have you done already and what have you planned?
📅August is about about staying cool, back to school, and making the most of the last days of sunshine.
Sport takes centre stage this summer as the Paris Olympics run from July 26th-August 11th.
July is a great month for sports and outdoor events generally. It usually has the All Ireland finals, Galway Arts Festival, Longitude, and Forest Fest (July 19-21 2024, at Emo Village, Laois). The Tour De France and Wimbledon will take over the TVs too! Cork LGBT and Pride starts on 30th July and goes until Aug 6th.
August keeps the heat on: Puck Fair (always on the 10th-12th), Rose of Tralee (16th-20th), Dublin Horse Show (14th-18th), All Together Now (1st-4th), Fleadh Cheoil (4th-11th) and National Heritage Week (17th-25th). Electric Picnic may be early this year, 16-18th (tbc).
