“ I’ve always wanted to have permission to stand in the middle of an empty tulip field and take all of the magic in. A few nights ago I got my wish. Our little valley normally draws close to a million visitors to its annual @skagitvalleytulipfestival but this year since the festival has been canceled its strangely quiet and quite sad. Without the festival many of the local businesses in our area are really hurting, especially the bulb growers since this one month makes up the majority of their business for the entire year. The good folks at @roozengaarde invited us out (after lots of begging) to their closed field right before they topped the flowers to capture the beauty and share with you. I took tons of photos and videos that I’ll be sharing this weekend. I hope this brings you a little extra joy. “
