It is sad to say goodbye.

After three years of Mojofest (and three years of RTÉ Mojocon before it) the event has come to an end.

Over the years we tried various different funding models to try to make the event sustainable…Sponsorships, Exhibitor fees, paid tickets etc but none ended up offering what we ultimately believed the event should encompass: enough revenue to be able to pay the flights and accommodation of our amazing speakers and enough to cover the bills including the staging and marketing and a basic salary for us the organisers.

We still absolutely believe in the potential of mobile content creation and creators and while the Mojofest in-person event is no more we are happy to say that in co-operation with our partners we will be bring back the Mobile Creator Summit in late May this year.

So stay tuned for updates on that over the coming weeks.

the real brains behind the operation. Co-Founder of academy and one of the best trainers I’ve ever worked with. Where would I be without Mark’s tireless with and perpetual pi$$-taking (usually of me)!

a rare human who always brightens your day when you are in her presence. A superb host and presenter and another one of the best trainers I’ve ever worked with.

If I had funding and was building a new venture I would fight hard to have these two legends on my team.

Thank you both for all your help, support and encouragement. I owe you both…big time. 🙏🏻

Meet Our Speakers: Dr Hamza al-Kateab is a Syrian doctor, human rights activist and public health advocate. From 2012 to December 2016, Hamza delivered frontline medical care to thousands of people shortly after graduating as a doctor. He was one of the last remaining doctors in Eastern Aleppo as manager of Al-Quds Hospital, which he set up for the treatment of non-trauma cases.
He now dedicates his time to continued advocacy efforts around ending the targeting of hospitals in Syria, and participates in events and talks across the UK and beyond. He is the Co-Founder of Action For Sama - an impact campaign created to turn the incredible worldwide reaction to For Sama into action for Syria.
