2023 done and dusted for us in our first year of ownership in Ballycurrin and what a year it’s been we had weddings, tours , music events, lots of party’s 🎉🎉 and guests from all over the World 🌎 We would like to thank our Customers, friends, neighbours and staff for the help and support though out the year, 2024 watch this space.

We were delighted to support Shrule/Glencorrib GAA & LGFA Club Oscarz which can only be described as an amazing event raising much needed funds for our club and brought the community together for a night to remember.

Thank you to Something In The Water for allowing us to be part of their wonderful festival this weekend.

The History Tours with Paul Burton went down a treat and gave us some further insight into the happenings here down through the years.

With the house in existence since 1760, we are certain there is still so much we don't know and would love to hear from you if you have a story about the place.

The historic Ballycurrin Lighthouse, said to be the only known inland lighthouse in Europe, is situated just metres from the estate.

Records suggest it was built in circa 1772 by Sir Henry Lynch as a marker for the Galway to Cong ferry. However, some believe it was in fact built by his wife so he could make his way home from the pub!
