Thank you all πππ very much!
The Knockatallon Bell Restoration Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank all involved with this special project. To those who provided machinery and equipment, materials, building stones, slates, and their time, to get this project almost completed. Due to the present weather conditions, work is now on hold. To all those involved with our recent concert in aid of the project, we want to thank in particular Patricia Cosgrove and Nicola Cusack and their backroom team, for organising this concert which included local artists, young and old. To Niall McKenna, electrician, Marc Mullen, video, James Cosgrove, photographer, and Niall Toal, sound engineer, and all those who helped with stage management. To those who decorated the church and Christmas tree, which put us all in the festive mood. To Joe Campbell for donating the tree, and to those who worked on the night....collecting tickets at the door, to the ushers, those distributing water, to the First Aid crew who made themselves available, to the stewards who braved the cold along with Garda Brian Foley to direct the traffic management and parking. To Hugh Moyna and Francis Mullen for the use of their property for car parking, to KR Hire for providing the portable lighting, free of charge, and to Kevin McCarey for shuttling patrons to the church. Thanks also to Martin Murphy for providing Portaloos, to Urbleshanny Hall committee and Tydavnet Community centre for seating, and to Sliabh Beagh Hotel management and staff for the use of their facilities and serving refreshments after the concert, and to all the local ladies who supplied the fancy baked goods. Thanks to Parish Priest Fr Joyce for the use of the Church, to the ticket sellers, and all those who purchased tickets and also to all those who made generous donations to this very special project. Last, but not least, a big "thank you" to all the artists who performed and gave such wonderful entertainment on the night. It was a fantastic event, well done everyone!
