The Donegal Rose Centre is delighted to introduce the Finalists through to the 2022 Donegal Rose Selection in association with R McCullagh Jewellers.

Rose Katie McAteer - Rathmullan

Katie McAteer is 24 years old. Currently working as PR Account Manager with The Right Angle.
Katie studied Journalism and New Media with Spanish at the University of Limerick and graduated in 2020. This course involved travel in both Barcelona and in Glasgow. Katie's office is in Donegal which she loves as it gives her more time to spend with family and to enjoy the countryside. Katie enjoys writing & Gaelic football. and is involved with Rathmullan Film Festival which inspires young people in Donegal to be creative.
Katie would love to work in the media industry, both behind the scenes and in front of the
camera. Not for fame, but for the love of it. She also hopes to eventually write a book and wishes to continue working with people from rural Ireland to encourage them to be creative and
use their skills to create films, poems & stories. Katie is passionate that young people should realise that they can work in the creative industries and hopes to encourage same.

We have been busy celebrating recently here at Drumhalla House....as our Weddings & Events Manager got engaged!!💍🥂
Many of you will know Siobhan from weekend viewings, running weddings, answering emails, taking calls and managing everything in between! We are delighted that she is now planning her own wedding.
The fact that she's seen countless weddings take place at Drumhalla and still says "There is nowhere else in the world I'd rather get married" is quite the statement! And really shows how much we genuinely love our venue & the wedding experience we've created!❤️
