"I am sure that very often we do not recognise our 'Crock of Gold' when we find it.

Early on a beautiful July morning, I found my Crock of gold on a small wooden bridge at Ballycullen Mullinahone.

Standing in the peace of the early morning, looking at majestic Slievenamon and listening to the Anner tumbling over age worn pebbles, I felt at one with my forefathers.

This landscape is part of who I am-it is in my DNA.

I would like to think that as I stood on that bridge grateful to and proud of my ancestors, that their spirits may have been at my side,

hopefully feeling that their striving and struggle through through famines and oppression had not been in vain

and that they too felt a small amount of pride that their descendants were travelling in their footsteps.

Thank you John & Monika for your warm hospitality which has led me to this magical place and thank you John for your chats on family history

A Kindred spirit.

Finally thank you Crocanoir for your peace and tranquility

May you never change."

Where did you find your crock of gold in Ireland?

To the friends who have visited Crocanoir, keep safe and well in these strange times. Molly and Frankie have journeyed across the fields with many of you and look forward to the day when you can walk with them again.

Still singing after all these years
Thanks to everyone who came on board and helped create magical musical memories at the end of the boreen
Here's a great start to 2020

So sad to hear of the passing of guitar legend Arty Mc Glynn.
It was a great thrill and honour to welcome one of my favourite musicians to Crocanoir.
Nollaig and Arty gave us some magical nights of music . Artys stories told in that unique droll way of his left us longing for more.
We will always remember him with warmth and affection
