Massive congratulations to Annette O'Donnell, Boherlahan who was last night awarded the Tipperary Community Games Volunteer of 2024 at the National awards evening in Mullingar πππ
Annette has been immersed in Community Games all her life. Her late mother Nora Brennan was instrumental in establising community games in Ballingarry in the 1980s and Annette competed in community games athletics, art and basketball as a child.
Annette was a driving force in setting up Community Games in Boherlahan in 2017, has been Boherlahan area secretary since 2017 and coached a girls indoor soccer team to achive a national community games titles in 2019. A county Tipperary community games committee member since 2019 she took up the role of Secretary of Tipperary Community Games in 2021, following the untimely death of Joan Hogan, RIP.
Since 2021 Annette has worked tirelessly as county secretary in organising, coordinating, and supporting community games volunteers throughout the county. She brings immense energy, dedication, and commitment to this role .
Well done Annette from all in Tipperary community games on an award so richly deserved, just reward for all you have contributed to community games at area and county level.
