A little bit of the truth for you this morning. I haven’t been making dried wreaths much lately as they have become quite slow to sell, for some reason. There was a time I’d post a wreath and it would sell within 5 minutes. I even had waiting lists at one point! I was churning them out. Those days seem like a distant memory. 🙈

Of course I could blame the algorithm, the COL crisis, trends changing, or maybe there’s more competition now. It knocks your confidence, and make you believe you’re failing somehow. But, this year is about making things for my own mental health, and not analysing the reasons behind these things! I like making them regardless, and that’s enough of a reason to keep at it.

So here’s the Ophelia wreath. It’s a mix of dried flowers, including Strawflower, Statice, Amaranthus, Spanish Moss and Nigella, set on a 30cm twisted vine ring. If you like it, a like, share or save would be amazing! It’s tough putting your work out there so support your small businesses in this way is always so appreciated! 🫶🏻

Good morning! I’m just posting the last of the wreaths for the year and will be winding down for Christmas next week, and here’s a whopper for you!

The Lumi wreath is a simple, fragrant mix of fresh blue-tinged Cypress and deep green Pine, set on a 30cm straw wreath base and trimmed with a green velvet ribbon, pine cones and bell gum cups.

Measures 70cm approximately.

I’m delighted to be hosting an evening workshop, as part of the Midleton Christmas Festival.

Join me for a festive wreath decorating workshop in Midleton’s newest venue, Church Lane, here in Co. Cork.

For this wreath workshop, we will be decorating a pre-made Noble Fir Christmas wreath, measuring 50cm, This is an ideal activity for those who would rather skip the mess of wreath making, and jump straight into the fun part!

You will be warmly welcomed to the venue with a festive drink, and treats, where we shall then sit down for a demonstration on how to dress your wreath base, using a wide selection of various natural trimmings and velvet ribbon.

This wreath would be ideal for hanging on your door, or for use as a table centrepiece. This workshop is an ideal way to relax and get your creative juices flowing. No floristry experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided.
