Huge well done to .dolan10 finishing 5th today!

Such a fantastic achievement, especially as Claire is still quite new to the sport. Doing Ireland proud - and that double 180kg deadlift 🤩 absolutely class!

Looking forward to seeing what Claire brings to 2025 now! 🔥

Up next is one of the OG Irish strongwomen 🔥

I’m 31. Really looking forward to deadlifts! Definitely not looking forward to loading medley (hate anything sandbag related) 😂

I’ve been competing on and off since the first Irelands Strongest Woman in car park and love how much it’s grown and so many more people have fallen in love with the sport. I can’t wait for Lachlan to join the sport when he’s old enough and to follow in the footsteps of his uncle and become Irelands Strongest man 🙌🏼

, 11am, be there! 💪

Emma, 32, Preston - England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
U82 strongwoman and resident grip nerd 🤓

Most looking forward to the dinnie hold of course, if I survive the keg load - which is questionable

I also partake in aerial hammock because why have one dangerous hobby that gives you bruises when you can have two?

Don't miss out on all the action kicking off at 11am tomorrow at

Our next competitor for The SWI Open is our very own , or many of ye also know her as "The Most Supportive Ref EVER!" 🔥 Here's what she had to say about herself

Skinny and fast, peer pressured into this, and doing it for the craic 😂 looking forward to most events I think. Havnt had a chance to think of them really never mind train for them!

Also I'm 35

Don't miss Sharon and the other women competing both in the Open and Beginners alongside the

Next athlete competing in the SWI Open is

My name is Jade Harkin, from Longford, Ireland. I’m a coach and nutritionist that works mainly around women’s health. I’ve been doing strongman for almost 3 years now and I’ve won Irelands Strongest woman 3x times since starting.
Event I’m most looking forward to is dumbbell as I’ve never done it in a comp before and has been going consistently well in training.
Not sure if I’m looking forward to anything else 😂 On the road back from a bit of an injury so excited to just get back into a comp environment and find my love for competing again after the injury ☺️

Don't miss out on a day filled with competition between the Open, our Beginners and men's Beginners 💪

Introducing our SWI Open athletes! First up is Amy Bradburn 🔥

Amy, 35, Manchester, Sci Fi Nerd and lover of funky leggings 😅

Training strongwoman for 2 and half years. Biggest achievement would have to be coming 8th at Natural Strongman Worlds 2023.

Most looking forward to just competing in Ireland again, had a blast when I did UKNS here last year, out of the events would probably say loading medley (which surprises me cause i usually hate sandbags!)

Most definitely not looking forward to husafell (or husahell as I like to call it 😅)

Get down to this Sunday, kicking off at 11am with our Beginners and Men's Beginners 💪
