Wishing all of our customers, athletes and supporters a very Happy Christmas 🥳🎅🏼🎄❄️
She's Skinny and she's Fast!!
It's the one and only Sharon Williamson 🔥
Sharon is a huge face in the sport, or should we say voice! You'll hear her at any competition whether she's competing or not she'll make sure you get those last few seconds/reps out of any event! 💪

It’s been a year!! 🥳🥳
Here’s a round up of what we have achieved as the Strongwoman Ireland Committee in the last 12 months.
We founded the SWI Fund with the intention to help women in the sport represent the country by competing internationally. The SWI Fund is funded entirely by profits from our merchandise sales, and any leftover money from competitions after covering overheads. You fund this, you fund these women representing Ireland!
With the SWI Fund, we have been able to sponsor 4 athletes who competed internationally a total of €325.00. These women competed at events such as OSG in Florida, WHEA Worlds in Finland & UKNS UK’s in Edinburgh. This just proves how amazing the women in the sport are doing!
We held our First Timers competition in August with an astounding number of entries. We had a total of 34 competitors on the day making it the biggest strongwoman competition to be seen in Ireland. We also had the opportunity to run the 2022 SWI Strongwoman League. In total we ran 3 competitions with 62 competitors. The sport is growing immensely & quickly in Ireland. We are so very proud & privileged to be a part of it.
Our merchandise has proved to be quite popular! We have sold 58 jumpers 10 t-shirts 26 beanies & 22 mugs. In '22 we raised approx. €1600 profit from merchandise sales alone. A reminder that all profits go towards the SWI Fund! When you invest in our merch, you’re also investing in Irish women competing internationally!
Thanks to the venues that agreed to host competitions @ironworx_gym_enfield_ @training.total & @gsp_gym. We would also like to thank the volunteers who gave their time to help out at all of these events especially @galwaystrongman_powerlifting.
Of course we cannot forget to thank those who sponsored us throughout the year. Sponsorship means the world to us, as it acknowledges the work we’re doing & helps us give better prizes to the lifters. Our wonderful sponsors for '22 were @cerberus_strength_ire

There is no other form of direct sponsorship for Strongwoman athletes in Ireland and we're delighted to be able to provide that through your help 💚

Maria Smyth with the new U64 Irish Deadlift record - 191kg
This weekend saw the third annual Cerberus Cup hosted by @gsp_systems in @gsp_gym. Always a heavy competition pushing athletes to get out of their comfort zones.
For one athlete that's just what she did. Maria set the U64 Irish Deadlift record with a massive 191kg lift - over three times body weight RAW! You can see from her amazing reaction how much this meant to her and her coach, @ayshea540. This is what it's all about!
Huge congratulations to @smyth_machine, you really are a machine 💪
Lynn with a 165kg deadlift PB
Amazing 165kg deadlift from @lynnmariedunn

Reposted from @lynnmariedunn A fantastic comp for a really good cause. World Record Day 2021 in memory of @mk_strength_fitness Dad and mental health. Buzzing with myself that I got all my lifts done and got some ugly pbs but hey a pb is a pb right? Only back training strongwoman 5/6months . Over the moon my Deadlift has went from 100kg up to 165kg and
