A blessing for Bealtaine 💚
Another beautiful reading, this time from Irish writer John O' Donoghue
Enjoy ✨️
I had the absolute pleasure of holding a wedding ceremony for Rachel & Kevin in Barberstown Castle Hotel
last week.
Never fails to impress with such a perfect combination of comfort, luxury and character.
Well deserving winner of the weddingsonline Castle Venue 2024 award ✨️✨️
I look forward to being back throughout the year for more Soulful Ceremonies Eire 💖
Ceremony readings are one of the things I spend a lot of time chatting with couples about 💖.
I'm always saying how important it is to hear them out loud and not just read. So here's a post to help that along!
This reading, Union by Robert Fulham was very popular last year.
I always suggest couples go for readings that:
✨️ you genuinely enjoy or hold meaning for you
🌷 reflect you as a couple
(If your romantic go for it, if not, there's lots of options!)
✨️ a balance of humour and sentiment
🌷sound good out loud
✨️ link with any themes of your wedding, maybe Irish writers
🌷 can be used to include people in your ceremony such as children.
✨️✨️take choosing them as a bit of time for fun and reflection:
Readings date night, anyone? 🥂
Do you know what you want to include in your wedding ceremony?
As a wedding celebrant & and solemniser, I always advise thinking about the vibes, the people, and the rituals.
As you can see in this sample video, you might include:
✨️Vibes: Warm, relaxed, elegant, personal, and fun
✨️People: A loving couple...plus children, family & friends
✨️Rituals: candles, rings, handfasting, vows, signing the register
Couples can choose all sorts of ways to show their love for each other. I consider a wedding ceremony to be the heart of a couples special day, and it sets the tone for the day ahead. I can offer all sorts of ideas and support to make sure it's truly special.
I still have some availability for 2024-2025, so please do get in touch if you have any Qs about wedding ceremonies.
