Cork Man Takes Covid Personally🦠

A local Cork man is taking the fact that he hasn’t yet contracted COVID-19 personally.

The man, who has asked to remain anonymous, says that he has been following all the guidelines, but he still hasn't gotten sick.

"I've been washing my hands, wearing 1-2 masks per day, and social distancing," he said. "i haven’t seen my family and friends in over 3 years, I know what I signed up for but give me a break, I’m lonely as f*ck and i still haven’t got the virus”.

The man says that he’s starting to feel singled out. "I feel like I'm the only person in the world who hasn't gotten it," he said. "It's starting to really get on my nerves."

The man's friends and family have tried to reassure him that he is not being singled out, but he is not convinced. He tells reporters that it’s not like he actually wants to get sick, he just wants the virus.

"It's a very isolating experience," said Dr. Laura O’Connell, a psychologist at the University of Dublin. "It can be very difficult to cope with the feeling of being left out."

The man's case is not unique. There are many people who have not yet contracted COVID-19, even though they have been following the guidelines. Some people are just more susceptible to COVID than others.

The man says that he hasn’t given up hope. He is still determined to get COVID, even if it means taking drastic measures. "I'm thinking about going to a COVID party," he said. "I'm not sure if it's a good idea but I’ll give it a go."

In the meantime, the man will continue to follow the guidelines and hope that COVID will eventually come around.

"nice bit of heat in that sun" reveals Irish scientist

In a world-first discovery, an Irish scientist has found that the sun is actually quite hot. The scientist, Dr. Seamus O'Brien, made the discovery on Tuesday, the 1st August while sitting in his garden.

"I was just out in the garden, enjoying the nice bit of heat in that sun, when I suddenly realized that it’s actually quite hot," Dr. O'Brien said. "I thought to myself, 'This is surely something that needs to be studied further.'"

The discovery has sent shockwaves through the scientific community. Many scientists are now questioning everything they thought they knew about the sun and some are even beginning to ponder about the question that is the universe!

To be expected, Dr. O'Brien's claim has received some backlash from the scientific community but he is undeterred by the scepticism of his colleagues. “I’m actually quiet an underrated scientist and I’m fairly confident this discovery is correct”

Dr. O'Brien's research has not yet been published in a peer-reviewed journal. However, he says that he is confident that his discovery will eventually be accepted by the scientific community.

"I think this discovery is just the tip of the iceberg," Dr. O'Brien said. "I believe that there is still much more to learn about the sun, and I'm excited to be a part of that journey."

In the meantime, Dr. O'Brien will continue to enjoy the nice bit of heat in that sun.

Let’s meet the mayo man who claims he’s been chewing the same piece of gum that joe Biden left behind back in April.

Eoin Donoghue, who has been dubbed "Mayo Man" by the locals, says that he started chewing the gum as a joke. But now, he says, he is addicted. He can't seem to stop chewing it, even though it has long since lost its flavour.

Mayo Man says that he believes the gum has magical powers. He says that it has given him the ability to see a girl he likes and not get nervous. “i was a nervous wreck before I snooped the gum, I’d see a young wan at local and of course the lads would be urging me to go and talk to her, but I’d never manage to pull it off, I tell myself there’s always next weekend which tends reduce the crippling anxiety”

The locals are sceptical of Mayo Man's claims, but they are also fascinated by him. They have come to see him as a kind of local celebrity. They often stop him on the street to ask him about his gum and his visions.

Mayo Man says that he is happy to share his story with the world. He hopes that one day Biden will return to that same stage in the ar****le of nowhere so he can snoop a fresh gum.

In the meantime, Mayo Man will continue to chew his flavourless gum and wait for the day when he can finally see the future.
