Founded on the 7th anniversary of Shunyata Records in Ireland, Pinaka quickly gained recognition for their striking art. Over the past two years, they have enhanced many major events, including their Audiogarden festival in Emerald Isle. Known for their captivating designs, Pinaka has also decorated numerous events such as Rudhra Thandav, Ohm Rituals, and Full Power Events.

Alex Panopoulos, the guy behind the Zik initiative, is the man in charge. Alex began making music at the age of 13 with gabber hardcore sounds under the artist name Terrorist. In 1999, he began writing chill out and psychedelic music with pals and entered the Zik realm. He started spinning around the earth and met many interesting earthlings that exchanged the same vibe of creation, which is sound. Along the process, he created projects such as the Matutero project from 2000 to 2004, the Horror Place project from 2004 to 2008, and the Adrenal Gland project from 2006 to 2010, forming collaborations with various artists such as Jibber Jabber, ZikOre, PolyZik, and KukuRuku. Zik collaborated with many artists around the globe, and his music was released on various labels around the globe too. The concept is to deliver to the audience a feeling of an intense trip into the darkest corners of their subconsciousness for a better understanding of human nature and fears.

Karthik, a.k.a K-Tech hails from the god’s own country- Kerala, India. He has a passion for Techno music that runs deep. Karthik boarded on DJing around the years 2010-2011 in the mighty club scenes in the lively city of Kochi. However, he slid into the musical journey long before as he gained expertise in many instruments and singing at a very young age. He picked up the gusto towards electronic music going to clubs & parties, and began self-training in DJ mixing. Later, he honed his skills at Loop School of DJs, a renowned institution run by producers and artists in Kochi. It is quite evident that Karthik has acquired a natural affinity towards music since childhood.
This techno enthusiast DJ initially began mixing grooves in the EDM genre and has explored various other genres, including the psytrance before finding his true calling in techno.
Karthik’s migration to Ireland has rekindled his harmonious core and made his return to the musical voyage again after the break he had in his DJ career.

The spirit of the Karakus Maracus Festival is unstoppable, firmly establishing it as one of the biggest and best psytrance festivals in India, with over 7,000 attendees gathered for its 9th edition at the beautiful Vagator Beach in Goa last year.
The artwork perfectly depicts the true essence and the actual spirit of the celebration, and the strokes have been executed with impunity by The culmination of two years of painstaking craftsmanship for celebrating ten years of Karacus Marakus. His unrelenting commitment to this project has given birth to this artwork. 🕉️
