It really was breathtaking and magical 🍃

⚡️GET TO KNOW ME: Emma, Chief Wedding Planner and Founder, Wednesday Wedding Club ⚡️

I realised recently I've never done one of these so hi! I'm Emma, and you'll probably realise quickly that this isn't an Irish accent - I'm originally from Brisbane, Australia and moved to Ireland in 2016. Rest assured "I know the craic" as one of my clients says 😂☘️

When I'm not planning weddings, you can find me scrolling TikTok (serious addiction 🙋‍♀️), watching TV or hanging out with my lil fam; I have 3 step kids and an amazing, super patient and supportive partner (shout out to all the partners of wedding industry peeps - we legit could not do this job without you)! If I did have more time, I'd love to do more art! I love to decorate and paint and draw (and I did all my website and branding myself!) 🎨

I also loveeee live music and have seen over 400 bands/acts 🎶 One band I'd love to see is Kings of Leon, and the next gig I'm going to is Smashing Pumpkins, who I last saw live in 2012 🎃 But my one true music love is Jamie T, who I've seen live 8 times and met last year 🙌

Before I was a wedding planner/stylist, I worked in publishing and media for 13 years, and wore many different hats from writer to editor to marketing specialist to publishing data analyst. I really needed a change and to do something that harnessed all my creative and organisational abilities and wedding planning is a perfect fit 🥰

Thanks to those who made it this far lol 😂 I love my job and meeting so many fun and lovely people every day - especially all my clients who trust me and my assistants with their big day! 😘

⚡️TASHA + JAMES✨

These two knew exactly what they wanted from our first consultation: a black tie, luxe celebration at the 5-star K Club in Kildare. From the first time I saw Tasha's beautifully curated wedding design I knew this wedding would be incredible 💥... and I was right! (Seriously, this girl blew me away with her style!) 🕶

The weather was crazy hot (25 degrees in Ireland in September!) but I'm so glad the sun was out for T+J's very chic, impeccably styled day that went off without a hitch 👌

From an extra long aisle that showed off The K Club's manicured lawn, to Baby Guinness shots, to an epic evening of dancing, this wedding was so bloody cool. Your wedding really can be anything you dream of ✨

Of course none of this could be done without my team on the day - all superstars! Thank you again all so much 🎉

Alright, it's not the most fun topic....but let's talk about 🪑 ceremony seating 🪑😂 Angling the seats can create a unique and cool look, but keep in mind your guest list and venue layout 👌 And don't be afraid to hire in different chairs than your venue offers, and seat cushions with a bit of colour (I chose zebra for this hahah)! When you're creating your seating chart, ask your wedding planner and/or venue coordinator for their advice on how you should arrange the seats - straight across, angled in towards the aisle, or tiered + how many rows they recommend for the space and how many guests. My advice is to get creative and have fun with it! Here are some designs I am trying for my clients 😉 x
