A few of the only shots we got from last weekend in , who were participating in . What a lovely little community ❤️

We were on hand to provide breakfast, lunch and dinner as the judges spent the day in the village. We created a bespoke menu showcasing the lovely food producers in the area, as well as foraging elderflower, honeysuckle and meadowsweet for the drinks menu. We had a lot of fun getting creative with this one. We hope the gold is coming your way in September 🤞🏻🥇💛. The village is a little gem 💎

Delighted to say tickets are now live on the website for a Pop-Up for Palestine in the gorgeous Tullynisk House, Birr.
We will be cooking a gorgeous Palestinian feast with working her magic and styling the event. There will be music, and a silent auction for a chance to get your hands on some exclusive items.

This is a non profit event and all funds raised will go to the children of Gaza 💔

If you can’t attend the event you are more than welcome to donate to the cause, we will post more info on that shortly.

We know a lot of you have been patiently waiting for our next Pop-Up 🙏 Well….

We’re delighted to be doing a collaboration with in the gorgeous Tullynisk House on the 14th & 15th June.

This will be a non profit event, and all proceeds will go to help the kids of Gaza ❤️🥹.

It’s seemed kinda pointless these last couple of months posting food related content given the state of the world 😢💔

We have been kept busy, and we have loved being part of your events and celebrations these past few months. We love all the different homes, and venues we get invited into, and the friends we have made in our clients. We really are very grateful for what 2023 has given us, so Merry Christmas to you all 🎄.
We hope everyone can take a minute to count their blessings 🙏

Not exactly summer food, but this chicken casserole is exactly what was needed today. Probably one of the most comforting and nourishing meals on the planet 🤗 and badly needed after that weekend!!

We are straight into preparations for two back to back weddings this weekend 😮‍💨 and pretty packed weekends until end of September. It’s been a good first summer for Wild Plates and we are very grateful to all of you who have supported us ❤️
We feel a holiday coming on 😄🙌🏻

Carb loading …. 🥰

Busy season is upon us. Despite what you may think we rarely get to eat what we make for everyone else. Our diets kinda suck 🫣
But pasta is always a quick and easy fridge/cupboard raid dinner.
Roasted cherry tomatoes with some garlic and thick balsamic, tossed through spaghetti with good olive oil and a sprinkling of Parmesan. Simple and Delicious 😋

C A N A P E S!!
Does anyone actually appreciate the work that goes into these pesky little morsels???We have made hundreds of them over the last two weekends, and we have to admit they are probably our least favourite thing to make in the kitchen because of how time consuming they are, but maybe we do ourselves no favours by making everything from scratch 🤪
And just as we thought we were coming to the end of our time with them for a while, we got a call telling us we were selected as the caterer for a canapé reception when the President himself Mr. Micheal D Higgins opens Esker Arts Centre in June!!! And so we go again with a few thousand more canapés, but don’t be surprised if we remove them from our catering menus in the near future 🤣

What do we always have in our fridge?
Probably some cheese! This appenzeller from with its tangy nutty flavour is a favourite these days. The trouble is trying not to eat it all in one sitting 🐷🧀🫶🏼
