The yin and yang of life shows us that nothing is forever. The feelings you have today, if positive, are fleeting, so how can you live your life to create as many of these moments as possible? Be grateful for what you have right now.

If the feelings you have today are not so positive, so too are they fleeting and therefore it is within your power to determine what the next feelings will be. Think well, choose wisely and you can transform what happens next.

Take care of each other. Reach into your heart and find the love. Experience it. Own it. Share it. And just as the sun sets on the day, the sun rises on another tomorrow.

I'm focusing on Practical Parenting for those with newborns or kiddies under 6 months, at the moment folks and I'm interested to get your feedback.

Would you be interested in a morning or evening workshop (approx. 2.5hrs) which would provide some very practical and informative information on issues which often arise, once your home. I'm speaking about issues relating to general fussiness, poor digestion, poor sleep (yours or babies), frequent chestiness, etc., none of which have been eliminated although none are seemingly medical in nature?

Does that makes sense? You've been in and out of the GP and they've told you there's nothing 'wrong' per se but you know that things just don't seem right.... Does that strike a chord?

I'm a qualified holistic therapist with a background in psychology, anatomy and learning and development. In my work over the past fifteen years, I have come to a point where I can combine a lifetime's worth of skills, knowledge and formal qualifications to find some little gems of info which seem to make a difference for a lot of little ones.

My business motto is live your best life possible. If you have a newbie in the house but you really don't feel like you're living your best life possible, would YOU be interested in attending a workshop like this?

Appeal for children's books after Dublin primary school's library destroyed in fire

Sorry folks, have to call a halt to this drive now as the school doesn't have anymore room for donations. They're in temporary accommodation. If donors are happy to do so we will find equally deserving recipients for the books donated today Tues (26/11).

Hey folks! Following on from news reports back in October, Crazy Daizy & Ickle Daizy Too! will be doing a book collection for the next week in Navan. If you have any children's books of all ages from 4yrs - 12yrs please get in touch and we'll collect them for delivery to Scoil Chatriona. Collecting up to Nov 30th. It's actually Ickle Daizy's initiative. She's doing it as part of the community element for her Chief Scout Award.

Had an unpleasant interaction recently in relation to a booking so decided to colour it more nicely for myself and use it as a way of ensuring there can be no ambiguity with regard to the level of professionalism with which I conduct my business.

All bookings must be confirmed with a 50% deposit. In the past I have waived this for repeat clients but this has lead to the idea that this deposit is not important and in turn my time, once booked is not important. This is not the case. I am self-employed. I provide this service on a infrequent basis and so once booked, I have assigned this time to you, for your family or work occasion. Please don't disrespect the time I have with my family by not following up on bookings to secure properly or by cancelling at the last minute if you have been afforded a waiver to the deposit.

I have a background in psychology, holistic health, learning and development, education and have skills for working with both children and adults with special needs. This skillset took time, energy, intelligence and money to put in place. I am pleased that by and large, most of my clients recognise this, appreciate it and fully respect it.

I work with the knowledge I have done everything I can to ensure I can assure you as to the level of service, safety and security I offer when working with your beloved children. When working with them, I treat them as the important little people they are. This means I carry insurances. I have completed HSE Children First Programme training. I have First Aid qualifications and I conduct myself with the professionalism I carry out all of my services.

In over twelve year's of providing fun and entertainment with my alter ego, I have never had a complaint until this week. It saddens me that due to a person's own error, they felt it was appropriate to call my professionalism and my reputation into disrepute and moreover to involve others on a professional level.

Because of this I have chosen to push back hard and not allow myself to be used to hide another person's inefficiency. 'Scapegoating' is not nice under any circumstances. It is particularly unfair and uncalled for when one is self-employed and a person in a large organisation belittles your work, in order to hide their own error.

As I have said, Crazy Daizy & Ickle Daizy Too! is not as frequently available as she would have been in the past, due to a change in focus for myself, with my new business PLI - Psycholistic Living Ireland. However, from time to time, I very much enjoy the opportunity to bring a smile to young and old, with some simple good fun and silliness. We all need a bit of that in our lives.

The above incident has highlighted to me that I must protect myself more stringently. Therefore, unless a booking has been confirmed with a paid 50% deposit or for corporate/community/organisation bookings, a written confirmation on official letterhead or by formal email is received, such bookings will be removed from the diary. Please do not expect me to chase you to remind you to confirm your booking.

Being self employed means It is far better for me to deem the booking non-viable and use my time for my own purpose, than to sit waiting in the hope that the person who booked will follow through. The service is for fun for all, not aggravation.

Many thanks to all my clients and their Very Important Little People over the years. I will continue to be available to those who see value in allowing kids (and adults) to be kids and look forward to meeting you in the future.

I'd like to do my bit for the Irish Cancer Society and the ongoing research conducted by them. I have had family members receive cancer diagnoses as well as friends, their kids and their extended family members too. The statistics are frightening - by 2020, 1 in 2 Irish people will receive a cancer diagnosis, that means if not me, it could be you!

Of 175 countries, Ireland has the 3rd highest rate of cancer diagnosis in the entire world. That is unbelievably scary.

A much loved coat was brought home, in error, following a party here on Saturday last, 27th January.
The coat is navy blue in colour with pink and blue flowers (similar to sunflowers).
It is from NameIt and has the child's name written clearly on the inside. There were pink gloves and sweets in the pockets.

Hi everyone, we have limited dates available in June for parties. We also have a number of slots for 'Who's Going to Big School' Workshops in Co. Meath. Its a 1hr workshop for incoming junior infants and covers aspects which may cause parents and kiddies anxiety in the lead up to starting at big school.
