Hello and welcome new followers, long-time followers, friends and visitors!
It's been a while since I introduced myself so here goes....

I'm Angela. I was born to be creative and make people smile. It’s my obsession, my motivation and my great joy.

A little about me:
I’m a wife and Mom (and servant to one very spoilt cat).
I'm partially deaf so I’m very grateful for mobile phones!
My least favourite household chore is ironing!
I have a great love for plants and the sights and sounds of nature.
I love rainbows (don’t ask me to pick a favourite colour!!), crafting, cooking, baking and family time.
I started experimenting with Facepaint and Balloons for my kids. The experiments quickly became a hobby which then turned into obsession when friends and colleagues began to request me for parties.

I feel very fortunate to be blessed with the talents I have that allow me to spread some joy in this crazy world. I’m humbled seeing the delight in a child’s eyes over my Facepainting or Balloons or reading the enthusiastic feedback of a customer who’s just surprised their loved one with one of my balloon creations.
These are the moments that become treasured memories and I don’t ever take that for granted.

6 is such a special age, isn't it?
Conversations with a 6 year old are always interesting - the sweet innocence, the energy, the random facts and surprising bursts of wisdom, the readiness to laugh... It's a wonderful time to have a special birthday party and balloons should definitely be a part of the occasion! 🎈

Have you ever felt a little 'deflated' when helium balloons barely last for an event and just look sad? So disappointing!

Why not keep the smiles alive that bit longer? Just order your balloons from Super Smiley Parties! This Mermaid display was entirely air-filled (no helium) so was able to last for LONG after the party ended. 😁🎈

P.S. When the balloons also match the cake, you know you've done your job right! 😂

Calling all friends of St Laurence’s National School, Sallins!!!

(Deep breath) This is a tough one…
My LAST ever balloon display for the school will be installed on the last day of school in June - a tough one since as a parent, I’ll also be saying ‘Goodbye’ to the school.

I have LOVED creating balloon displays for the students, staff and families of Sallins National School these past few years. It started with the return to school after the Covid lockdowns. We were all a little anxious and uncertain and I wanted to remind everyone of happy times and add to the excitement of the Halloween walk (even though the children weren’t yet able to walk around the village). I thought passing a balloon display would add a bit of fun/interest to the day and the feedback I got from parents and kids proved me right so, whenever I could manage it, I installed a balloon display to keep the smiles going.

This was always for you - my community. And with this last balloon display and the emotion that comes with it, I’m not sure what to make. I need your help!

Please COMMENT what makes you think of Summer and SHARE this post with friends of Sallins NS so I can get as many suggestions as possible! I'd love to use one of your ideas!
Themes that make me think of summer are Sunshine, Ocean creatures, Rainbows, Flowers and of course, Icecream! 😁

Celebrating becoming a teenager with this Manchester United themed display.
Aside from the occasional seasonal order, I'm rarely asked for the same design twice. I'm happy to recreate something but it's nice to tweak things to suit each individual.
I created a display just like this back in March and just realised I never posted it on Facebook (oops!) - see second pic. 🎈

It's official! My 'Standard Selection' for quick orders launched the other day in my Stories (and Instagram highlights). If you didn't see it, here it is.
I'm sure the range will grow (because I love to offer choice!) but I hope you like what you see.

All of these designs can be made using your choice of colour. Foil balloons will depend on your preferred colours but if you don't have a favourite, just choose Blue or Pink and leave the rest to me.
This selection is in response to recent requests for fast order items and budget balloons. They're all easy order, easy collect, customisable for different occasions and they won't break the bank.
They're also perfect take-along balloons to surprise someone and brighten their day!
Order within 24-48 hours of your event - or earlier if you'd like to discuss alternative colours or add-on details.

Mini stack - with a footie theme.
Those of you who've followed me know that I love colour. I'm happiest when I'm coordinating different shades and tones and I often spend far too long on it if I'm honest. Then I get an order like this...
This design was from back in 2021 for a man who 'does not like fuss'.
Reckon I scored points for simplicity? I couldn't resist using different shades of green! 🤣🎈

Yippee! Finally got new hair colours! 😁😁🎈
Scrolling to the second picture, you'll see the colours I have typically been working with for hair colours on my balloon characters/figures.
They're all good fun but sometimes I want a paler colour for really light blond hair or a deeper shade than orange for red hair.
I've finally got my wish and the new colours are Toffee and Sunset. I absolutely LOVE them and can't wait to try them out on some characters soon.
Now my only dilemma is which to try first!!
What would you do?
