Storm Ashley might be heading our way in the morning, but today was a perfect sunny autumn day for Sandra & Paul. I just adore Sandra's colour palette of soft pink, mauve and burgundy! And the stunning cake by Megan of @thevelvetcakery is a showstopper! Hope you're having the most wonderful day! ❤️ 🍄❤️
Almost 2 weeks since 2 of my favourite humans decided they quite liked being in each others lives, so they decided to make it permanent 😍 Thank you Anna and Warren for asking me to flower up your big day, and I hope your lives are long, healthy and insanely happy.
I absolutely love doing flowers for intimate weddings, so when Kerry asked me to do some hair flowers for her wedding, I instantly said yes, but you have to have a posy to match! Gorgeous buttonholes for hubby and Kerry's sons completed the ensemble. Hope you had the most wonderful day! ❤️
All the colours!!! What a joy it was to work with @theclodaghshortiss and Neal on their wedding at @ashleyparkcountryhouse yesterday. Hope you had the most wonderful day!

Today's bouquet for Danielle and Luke's elopement in Killarney today...
Hope you had an amazing day!
Looking forward to seeing the photos by my buddy Ciara from @tiltedtripodweddings; check her out if you're looking for a photographer with a sense of adventure!
For the last 3 days, I was lucky enough to spend time at the Chapel Designers Conference in Slane Castle, hosted by @hollychapple, and attended by some of the most wonderful florists in the business, from Brazil, Puerto Rico, USA, Canada, Switzerland, the UK and a wonderful Irish contingent, headed up by Lorna @aroominbloom and Jenny @flowersbymoira, as well as Sylvia @bellabotanica, and guest tutors @maxowensdesign and @bloomandburn
3 days of working with the most gorgeous flowers and foliage from @hoekflowers, @alexandrafarms, @wicklowfoliagefarm and @flowerfarmersireland, culminating in a wonderful gala dinner at the castle, surrounded by all our hard work.
It was intense, inspirational, and emotional, and I have made some wonderful flowery friends that I hope to see again in the future. Thanks so much to everyone involved for making it so special.

A planted wreath...
A more sustainable, long-lasting alternative to a traditional grave wreath, planted with viola, ivy, bellis, as well as hyacinth and muscari bulbs which have not yet flowered, promising yet more colour in the coming weeks. With a base of reinforced cardboard the entire wreath is plastuc-free, floral foam free and completely compostable. The perfect tribute to your loved one.

The most stunning reel of Jennifer and James from their December wedding in @kilshanehouse captured by the amazing Roger of @portraitroom
2023 was a really special year for weddings, working with some gorgeous couples, wonderfully talented suppliers in some beautiful venues; I've tagged many of you, but there are far more than I can mention. Thanks so much for asking me to be part of your big day!
Once again, like last year, I will be making a donation on your behalf to the wonderful @hometreecharity to plant 100 trees on your behalf in their temperate rainforest in West Clare, which works out at approx 3 trees per wedding. It will never atone for all the carbon expended in creating the flowers for your wedding, but it will be a lasting legacy which will hopefully be enjoyed by many generations to come. For more information, visit https://www.hometree.ie
Wishing all my wonderful couples a very Happy New Year, and many happy years together. Looking forward to seeing all your wedding photos! Much love to you all, from myself, Mr Mushroom, the sprouts, the kitties, and of course my amazing right hand woman, my mum @keanebreda. Can't wait for all the wonderful 2024 weddings! 🍄❤️🍄
