✨ Looking back on 2024 ✨
As 2024 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on what has truly been the most rewarding year of my career. I am beyond humbled and overjoyed to have been named Wedding Photographer of the Year 2024 by the IPPVA .p.p.v.a and to have my work recognised with multiple awards. These honors are a culmination of 14 years of hard work, dedication and passion for capturing love stories.
To all the couples who have entrusted me with documenting your most precious moments: thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your trust in me to preserve your love stories is what inspires and drives my creativity every single day. ❤️
This year, I’ve been reminded of some valuable lessons:
✨Continue to grow and stay curious. I'm grateful to be eager to learn and create and push the boundaries.
✨Follow your gut and listen to your heart. It's ok to be afraid and doubt yourself but push through that fear and you might be surprised at the outcome.
There were some images I entered into the awards this year that I adored and I worked hard to create, but they were a bit 'different', some might look at them and say 'I don't get it'. And so I was afraid the judges wouldn't see their beauty the way I did, but I took the risk and stayed true to what I loved. That risk paid off, and they were my highest scoring images, making the recognition even sweeter. ✨
As I step into 2025, I do so with immense gratitude and a renewed commitment to creating meaningful, timeless photographs that reflect my couples the best way I can. Here’s to continued growth, curiosity, and following our hearts regardless of fear.
