Class and style was the order of the day as jess and Shelley walked up the asile with their proud fathers .The weather stayed with us for our outdoor ceremony with Mother Nature doing her best to blow out the candles but the girls Mothers kept the flames burning. The girls made personal vows to each other, Michelle promising to save the last dance for Jessica. A beautiful day for two beautiful ladies

Shelley, what can I say?! From start to finish, since the first day we chatted on the phone to the day we met you for a chat in person, you were just so lovely & down to Earth which is right up our street!
You did such an amazing job on our ceremony. You're so good at what you do! ❤️ Everybody was raving about you and still are! The ceremony went so smoothly & it was so relaxed and chillled. OK Lets talk about mobile phones♡ in the ceremony room.I find couples struggle a little with this As they don't want to come across as being upitey asking their friends to turn off their mobile during the ceremony.
This is my opinion on the whole matter. There Will be plenty of opportunities to take photographs of the day ,selfie" ect. Your guests are invited for a reason to be present in the lovely little ceremony that you have created, And also it's not rude to ask people to leave social media outside the most important milstone 30mins of your life Most couples have engaged in a profesional photographer who wants to get the best photographs.There's nothing as bad as seen a load of mobile phones stuck out while the couple are coming down the aisle.Personally I think it's rude if you have told them the ceremony is uncut. And also bride's get nervous and emotional Having said that.It's your ceremony and if you want mobile phones that's okay , but please don't feel that your friends will think any less of you by asking them to switch off their phones during your ceremony.. Ask your celebrant to do in the opening housekeeping.

Outdoor ceremonies are beautiful that's a fact. But in Ireland the weather is very unpredictable, four seasons in one day I Always say to my couples the sun will be shining in your hearts, so don't stress if we have to go inside The
Photographer will always recapture those moments outside when he gets a break in the weather.My beautiful couple Andera and Luke still smiled through the rain but yesterday it stopped raining right before the bride walking in, we got lucky .

How long will my Ceremony take. Always the first question ? I am always asked as a celebrant. So my answer is always the same.I cannot put a definite time on it, because I want you to enjoy the beautiful moment of taking your wedding vows and all the lovely elements that are involved in the ceremony. These are memories that will last a life time. The ceremony usually takes between 30 and 40 minutes, however it's a live event and I personally don't rush.There are many things that could happen to delay your ceremony. Arriving late The songs may be longer than usual. They're all elements to factor in. Remember, your wedding ceremony is the most important part of your wedding day. The party will come later.
Sometimes I get asked The photographer needs to know, Personally, I have a job to do just like them. we have journeyed together to make your ceremony special. And I won't be rushed. Also if the bride or groom arrives late, or can be emotional or children get upset, can also delay the ceremony. We just relax and take a breath Just little things to think about. Your ceremony is not a boring part of your day to just get it over with fast Its The most beautiful part of your wedding day..when you get to make your dreams a reality .💕 www.celebrateyourday.ie

Shelly was the celebrant at our wedding last Thursday and she was amazing! She made us both feel so relaxed and the ceremony had a mix of humor while also being heartfelt! Shelley did our wedding ceremony on 07 April 2024 in Brooklodge and we couldn’t have been happier with how the day went. All our guests complimented how personal the ceremony was to us as a couple, she really made sure to get to know us as a couple in the preparation for the ceremony and the connection she built with us was clear to see on the day. We had a beautiful ceremony incorporating our parents and Celtic hand fasting which meant the world to us incorporating our Irish and Scottish roots. Thank you so much Shelley for all the work you put into making our day so special xx

Two different days, two beautiful couples and their families, apart from the same venue Tankardstown house both couples shared another special thing Love.
