World Down Syndrome Day - March 21st 2022

As most of you know our son Freddie was born last June with Down syndrome. It was a whole new world to us at the time but we’ve since come to learn what a privilege it is to be part of such a wonderful community and at the heart of that is an incredible organisation - Down syndrome ireland💛💙

March 21st is world Down syndrome day and we want to do our bit to raise funds for this amazing cause that we know we as a family will lean on many times over the coming years💛💙

We are holding a fundraiser that will allow one lucky person to win a private 4-course dinner party with Andrew in their home or in our premises kitchen 28 for themselves and 5 pals.
It is €15 to enter and you can enter multiple times but once you enter once you are in the draw!
Winner announced March 22nd at 6pm! Tickets can be purchased on our website only and not in-store - this is to ensure all entries are captured…

It’s that time of the year again. But we can make it even better! We have one of our Famous hams to giveaway on eve. You can also order all you goodies from@our deli or online www.kitchen28.ie …. Well our deli has been keeping this under wraps for a while now. Our new upstairs area is now open.

Seats up to 35 in main room and then we also have a private mums/dads & baby room that seats 10 (can be privately booked for meetings too)

Also have a full baby changing room which is fully stocked. We have bottle sterilisers, Tommie tippe machines so never be caught out.

We have big plans for this area next year. Pop up nights, Family Sunday lunch, Cocktail & tapas nights. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Currently we will be operating the room with no table service, so it’s as normal, order food ine the deli and just pop upstairs to eat & chill and pop all your compostable waste in bins provided.

Break Glass Incase of emergency!

New baby changing facility. We’ve also got a Tommie tip prep machine and bottle steriliser. I’ve pretty much got everything covered for us dad/moms when we are left on our own devices and always forget everything (speaking for myself 🤦‍♂️) So have a coffee and cake outside in our new garden area and not worry about having to bring the “suitcase” of stuff. Nappies from pre-term up to 5 also available. All we ask is, if your ever popping into us again, to pop in some spare essentials or even stick a euro or 2 in the “emergency fund”. This way we will always be able to keep this area fully stocked.
