So what's a tie-your-own cord, and how is it different to the other Handfasting cords?🤔

Our Tie-Your-Own Infinity Knot Handfasting cord, is one of our celtic love knot cords, but has a long strand in the middle which allows you to form your infinity knot during your ceremony, and then pull it tight to seal your knot!🥳

This form of pulling your knot tight is also done with any of our braid cords❤️

This is where the term 'Tying the knot' comes from✨️

How absolutely enchanting are these photographs of A&I's handfasting up in the mountains✨️

Honestly, on receiving these shots, they took my breath away. The quiet joy, magic and happiness that shines from these two at their elopement really makes me feel so very, very lucky to be a tiny part of their union by making their custom handfasting cord.

Let me introduce myself✨️

Hi to all my new followers, and welcome to my little corner:) Here are a few facts and bits about me:

Im Kelly, and I'm a textile artist (and singer!) from Waterford (oldest city in Ireland!) And I live in a very, very old rambling house with my husband and partner in crime, Damien, and my 2 sons Teddy and Sebastian🌟

I'm lucky to have a little studio at home, and this is where I spend most of my time, making braids and cords with all of my intention and passion ❤️ I sit in front of a window and watch ppl go by as I braid😅

My background is a masters in Fine Art from the gorgeous Goldsmiths College in London.

I have been to HUNDREDS of handfastings! How??👇

The other half of my livelihood is playing for wedding ceremonies! 🎶 Myself and Damien have played together for over a decade as the wedding duo

My two boys are 3 and 5 and crazy and happy and make everything a big whirlwind and I wouldn't change a thing!
