I absolutely love this post. "We rise by lifting others". Wise words to live by.

Unfortunately, competition remains a reality and not every one has adopted this mantra.

Back in school, one of my friends wouldn't share her class notes with me (really?!) and in recent life, I offered to help someone with her business (we tend to overlap) and the response I got was not the friendliest. There's plenty of business to go around - no real reason for not being able to work together!

Which makes me grateful for the women who are supportive and want others to succeed.

I'm late to the party 🎉 but I was diagnosed with (probably omicron) today.

Friends and family have given tons of advice on how to beat it and here are some tips I've received:

🥤 Hydrate. This is good advice, even when not sick.
🥣 Soup. Helps with hydration sore throats.
☕Tea. See above.
🧃 Juice. Load up on vitamins C & D.
🛌 Sleep. Aim to sleep 7-8 hours per night.

New years resolutions are a popular tradition but can be hard to keep. Writing them down and making sure you have a cheerleader on your side can be the best way to keep motivated during the year. What are you resolving to do this year?

Some of my business goals are:
1 - Post more to social media - pictures, videos (😱), and general content.
2 - Streamline processes. This where being an entrepreneur can be lonely. Luckily, I have a fabulous support system in place who can help me with this, starting with the fabulous Yosefa Huber, accountant extraordinaire.
3 - Ask for reviews. I've been so fortunate to work with some wonderful people and would love to hear how I helped them.
4 - Take a class to improve a skill.

Personal goals: These are harder!
1 - Keep my goal of reading one book per week. I am anxiously awaiting the final book in The Seven Sisters series by Lucinda Reilly.
2 - Finish my started knitting and crocheting projects.
3 - Give back/Volunteer.
