💍 A Couple a Day is back!!!

Meet Yitz & Ariella Taragain ✨

What do they do?
Yitz is a chayal, working in the Lishkat Giyus Yerushalayim while coaching baseball on the side ⚾
Ariella works in social media management, running multiple accounts that help seminary girls and yeshiva guys.

How did they meet?
They first met when Ariella’s parents hosted future chayalim from the community for a Shabbat meal, and Yitz was one of the guests.
A year later, after the war had begun, he came again for another meal — and just a few days later a family friend set them up. The rest is history ❤️

A moment they’ll never forget
Standing under the chuppah and turning for “Im Eshkacheich Yerushalayim”, looking out over the Harei Yerushalayim.

Something special about them
Both Yitz and Ariella are Olim, and Yitz served as a lone soldier. They’re excited to build their life and raise a family in Israel — a place they both actively chose to call home

Motzai Shabbat we may the decision to have the wedding at
Everything needs to be organized in 15 hours.
It worked out to be one of the most spectacular weddings a ever planned 🫶🏻

It’s a striking contrast that I navigate simultaneously: I’m a wedding planner, crafting unforgettable celebrations for couples, while also serving as a combat soldier in Gaza, defending my country.

Balancing these roles might seem contradictory, but both are driven by my commitment and duty. My time in conflict sharpens my appreciation for life’s joyous moments, making every wedding I plan more meaningful.
It’s a challenging balance, but my dedication to both protecting my nation and creating joy for others keeps me focused and driven.

We’re Charlie and Rivkah Gottlieb, a software engineer and a student/baker duo ready to take on life’s adventures together! 💑

One of the most magical moments from our wedding was the bedeken, where we got to see each other for the first time in a week right before tying the knot in the holiest city in the world! 🏰✨

From middle school theater to finally saying “I do,” our journey has been nothing short of amazing. Rivkah was Ariel to Charlie’s Prince Eric, and though he proposed on stage back then, it took us 8 years to make it official! 😄💍
