Rosh Chodesh at Devorah's

I am still spinning from last Thursday's Rosh Chodesh event. Being able to offer women a relaxed night out in honor of rosh chodesh is already pretty amazing- but last night was more than that. It was simply magic. Under the loving direction of Talia we were gently guided to a place of personal awareness. Awareness of female pain, anxiety, hormonal suffering and how to understand it and more importantly how to balance it with beautiful essential oils by Avaroma. Then each of us, using our own intuitive self love, added essential oils to the bottle of Shemen Kessem face & body oil (that was included in the Devorah Rosh Chodesh gift bag). Having achieved a state of femine bliss and openness through our sense of smell our dearest Leigh Maller took us to feminine heaven. Leigh taught us how to massage our abdomen - from solar plexus to pelvic floor in the most gentle, nourishing, self loving way possible. It is an ancient system of female massage, passed on from mother to daughter from ancient times. Thank God Leigh (with a very small select group of practitioners) is resuscitating this ancient healing art and agreed to teach us last night. We used our newly created oils, allowed ourselves to be vulnerable, and learnt how to heal and balance ourselves on the highest level. To me, I feel like saying Dayenu, that alone was enough, that alone represented the message of this beautiful company - created to make women feel wonderful. But it wasn't enough - because lea sarfati came with the most unbelievable platter of fish delicacies AND we all got to play with the new dewy lip and cheek balms AND we all got to hang out and laugh bond while sipping champagne and forge new friendships AND we got goody bags to the home. Ahhhh life is good.
