Glen
- was set to fight for AOC's first ever INDIAN NATIONAL MMA AMATEUR TITLE BELT at 77kg
- two weeks before, his opponent withdrew due to injury
- there were two options left for him, to fight his debut Pro match against another debut fighter at 80kg OR stay at 77kg and take on a veteran Pro fighter with a 15 fight record, 7 wins and 8 losses
- Glen took two days and went for the big one, Pro debut against an SFL and MFN vet

Nikhil
- 15 fight veteran on the Pro MMA circuit, having trained under Alan Fernandes
- faught in SFL and MFN...
- moved to Goa a few months back and joined Tribal Warriors after two years out of the cage
- dreaming of a come back fight, nothing was there and it looked like he wouldn't get the opportunity this time round
- luck was there when Glen chose him as his opponent for his Pro Debut

Nikhil is an explosive counter fighter, but his two years out was evident and his tank emptied quickly, Glen picked his shots carefully and got him where he wanted him in the first round, which was flat on the canvas. Here Glen took advantage of his grappling skills and finished Nikhil, unleashing a barrage of punches which ended in a referee stoppage via G&P.

This was a real Clash of the Titans... The story behind this title fight will slowly be revealed.

It's a story filled with passion, pain, loss, elation and redemption.

Due to an admin error ( for which I, Bonny , take full responsibility), these two Warriors ended up battling it out over 3 x 4min rounds instead of 5 x 2minutes... for heavyweight strikers, this is a massive ask, but these guys gave everything they had and in the end, Rohit of Mannar Boxing was crowned the new WKO Goa State K1 Champion.

Come and watch our home grown champion, Rizwan "the Panther" Sab, defending his National K1 Kickboxing Title!

Rizwan started at Tribal Warriors only a few years back and his first fight was against Laxman Lamani, whose camp had misinformed the organisers and claimed that he was also a debut fighter.

Laxman was in fact an experienced boxer with multiple State gold medals and over 20 fights under his belt. Rizwan did well to stand and fight the three rounds even despite also having a 5kg weight disadvantage.

The fight ended with the judges wrongly giving Rizwan the win, as Laxman had dominated the fight, but also had repeatedly struck Rizwan after he'd hit the canvas, which the referee had failed to put a stop to.

Now it's two years later and Rizwan will face Laxman again. This time to defend his hard earned Championship title belt.

It's going to be an electric fight, with the dark history between the two athletes.

Meet Shoaib Khan... appearing on AOC for the fourth time!

Fighting under K1 rules in AOC3 and again on AOC4, where he put on a cracking performance to take our first ever Title Belt, becoming the WKO Goa State Champion.

He went off to pursue his career in MMA and returned last year to headline the show in a PRO MMA bout against Abrar Uddien from Kerala.

Abrar put up a brave fight, but Shoaib had a clinical performance and finally Abrar was saved by the bell, as Shoaib had him under his control and was unleashing on him, coming very close to a G&P Stoppage.

On Feb 17th Shoaib again returns to us on AOC11- CLASH OF THE TITANS, to face a fellow Goan fighter, Pushkar Bhosle. This is the first Eliminator in our 3-EVENT SERIES : "The Battle Ascension: Road to Flyweight Glory", where the winner will be crowned as WKO INDIAN FLYWEIGHT MMA CHAMPION!

It's with mixed feelings that I announce the postponement of AOC11.

As many of you know, my Dad passed away in September.

I had an epic journey getting my daughter, Zion and myself to the UK, then a month there, still trying to keep my gym and all our projects alive here, while dealing with things in the UK.

I've returned to India having to deal with the backlog of work I had pushed forward while away and despite my best intentions, I've realised that December 22nd is just not possible.

I've decided that we will push AOC11 forward to Saturday 17th February.

I'm sure that for those who hoped to travel to Goa, it will be a relief , as it will give us all time to plan properly.

My apologies to those who had there heart set for December.

I will open registrations within the next week.

AOC6 saw our first ever PRO MMA bout, featuring Abditya Sanil of Team Relentless and Muatafa Cinar from Turkey.

Mustafa walked in almost 20kg heavier than Aditya. We hit the unfortunate obstacle of dew falling on the canvas and the cage was like an ice rink.

The fighters hit the ground quickly and it didn't take Aditya long to submit Mustafa with his signature Triangle Choke.

This one's gonna be killer!

Igor Smart, who trains out of Tribal Warriors in Goa, will take on yet another of the warriors from ICSA’s combat army, Raj Kumar. Raj was the main event on Mallya Yuddha 2.0 and Igor took a late fight stepping in as the co-main event on the same show. Both fighters submitted their opponents in the first round, Raj via RNC (Rear Naked Choke) and Igor with an arm bar. This is a clash between two fighters on a strong winning streak.

Mohammed Wakeel, fighting out of ICSA Bangalore, will make his professional MMA debut against Balveer Singh Tomar, who up until this weekend is on a four fight winning streak. The ICSA team has a reputation for calculated game plans and the man in charge, Jitesh Banjan, clearly loves to give his fighters a challenge. This one promises to be a cracker!

Introducing these two powerhouses, who will be stepping into the cage on 17 December at AOC9.

has only just today taken the gold medal at ADCC south Asian Championships and has a very impressive record across a variety of styles, with a multitude of wins on the amateur and professional stage.

Puja has been battling for a long time to find an opponent, with her matches regularly cancelling last minute. Out of desperation to give this warrior a fight, her coach suggested we approach Monika’s team.

It’s a brave move, but knowing ICSA , I definitely wouldn’t rule out the underdog in this bout!

Keeping to themselves, the leader of the team, Jitesh Banjan, is quietly creating an army of terrifying warriors.

Here are two of our debut fighters:

Rahul joined Tribal Warriors when he was given a month free training after volunteering on an earlier AOC as DJ, film editor and social media assistant . He again DJ’d in April and he was inspired to get seriously into training and have a go himself.

He’s worked hard and transformed himself in only a few months, stay tuned to se who he will take on.

Saiel joined Tribal Warriors only a few months back and immediately showed an interest in competing when AOC9 was announced.

Inspired by his trainer, Tribal Warriors fighter, Igor Smart, he’s been putting in the hours and is ready for war!

These two young men are fierce warriors who have asked to be put up against the best opponents we can find… such a pleasure, when so many only want to fight people who they know they can beat!

Another beautiful series of photos from our volunteer photographer, @brunhildagoa ... brings tears to my eyes when I see the passion shining through in so many ways. The people who gave the most were so often the ones who took no payment for their labours and did it for the love of what they do. Although we charged entry for the first time on this show, still we came no way close to breaking even, only spending what we had to make the whole experience sonething really special for the fighters . This fight was two debut K1 fighters, with Kenrick ofTKO Gym stepping in to test his skills for the first time, against Mubarak of Chase Security who had previously had an MMA bout. Mubarak weighed in heavy and even after attempting to cut weight, still never hit his target, but Kenrick took the fight nonetheless . They both gave their all with Kenrick taking the decision after a hard fought battle. Congratulations guys!
