A post from 2012 just popped up showing how I had my custom desktop setup back then.

So oddly satisfying just to look at. No doubt on the long hours I used to spend on my Compaq Presario 😅.

Bounce animated dock on the left, CPU, RAM usage meters, MP3 player ready on command and an extensive HUD clock, and for obvious reasons a teenage boy's fe**sh for a neon Lambo wallpaper.

All these are installed via Rainmeter with widgets from DeviantArt which I believe is still in operation. Hopefully.

In 2019, my curiosity and G... Main Chul had forced me to dismatle the laptop which had taken a couple of hits previously. The screws would not go back as the grooves had just given away. With only the 256Gb hard disk to salvage, the machine ended up with GAADIWALA after 11 yrs of service.
