Well, that is curtains on another good season in the IPL for the RCB. To recover from a run of 1 win in the first 4 games despite all the rain affected matches (4 of them out of 14) to qualify for the playoffs and make it to Qualifier too following the comprehensive win against Rajasthan was an amazing turnaround!
Getting the batting order right, with Virat opening along with Gayle and ABD coming in at No. 3 was what caused the change in fortunes. Not to forget, the Starc factor and of course the contributions from Chahal who was outstanding and finishes as RCB'S highest wicket taker, Harshal Patel, Mandeep Singh, David Wiese, Arvind with his late flurry of wickets, Aaron for his contribution in the beginning, Dinesh Karthik who didn't quite live up to his price tag but was still a crucial cog in the side, Sarfaraz Khan the youngster, and the ever jovial Darren Sammy for his early contributions. Not to forget, Mr. Nags in that list ;)
All in all, a good season of cricket and hopefully we can go one better next season and get that elusive first title :)
For now, we do have the Champions League to look forward to! :D

Difficult defeat to take today! :(
Good bowling performance from the team, but average performance with the bat. DK and Virat gave us hopes of a victory, but it was snatched away in a moment with the wickets of the pair.
Hoping to bounce back against Punjab at the Chinnaswamy!

Poor bowling performance today, costing us the match. Great news given to us by our captain that Starc will be playing the next game, which happens to be the South Indian Derby! :D
Valiant effort with the bat today by two men, ABD as usual and the new man, David Wiese. What a dream debut he had today! 4 wickets and 47 runs, almost leading us to the elusive victory! Have we finally got the all rounder we have been looking for for the past seasons? Hopefully his consistentcy with the ball and his hard hitting will help us to many wins in future!
Encouraging performance with the bat today, but the bowling department disappoints again, barring Yuz and Wiese.
Tough one to lose, but get behind the team fr the next run of fixtures RCBians! :)
