1. BEWARE of such organisers who mention false no of flats and mention as Association events in their posters to lure the stall vendors.

( Just type number of flats / units in Google of that apartment and you can get the real figures. You have every right to fight and question the organisers as why they are giving false nos of flats.
They just try to fool and attract the vendors.
The vendors get easily carried away with the no of flats and by seeing as an association event.

2. BEWARE of such organisers who cancels the event on the event day. Later gives xyz excuses stating that she met with an accident, hospitalised, family death etc.
This is just to fool the vendors and gain sympathy and it's their regular excuse so that the vendors doesn't question why the event has been cancelled.
These organisers don't know the value of money, time and necessity of the vendor.
Avoid such organisers.

3. BEWARE of such organisers who take the full amount of rent in advance. Their main agenda / intentions are just to put up stalls and earn easy money.
No promotions, no publicity of the event, no activities to attract the customers will only make the failure of the event and less footfalls.
Just putting up stalls and earning easy money is their main priority.
Collecting the full amount in advance is basically to safeguard themselves and earn easy money without doing any efforts for the event.

4. BEWARE of such organisers who are not present at the event venue. They fear avoiding and facing the problems at the venue and also facing the vendors in case there is less footfall and sales. These organisers put the canopy vendor / game vendor in front or hire a person to put them into the job to avoid facing the problems and difficulties of the vendors on the event day.
They are not present on the event day or just collect the rent and leave the venue. And when you call them they won't pick up the calls or later after the event will give excuses .

5. BEWARE of such organisers who post multiple advertisements on the same day. They attract and fool the vendors by posting events of good apartments and stall vendors get carried away and pay the amount in advance.
And last moment on the event day they will give xyz reasons and will say the event got cancelled.

6. BEWARE of such person who is a stall vendor and says I will get your stall booked. They have self interest to get benefits like commission or discounts on rentals from the organisers who works for them.

It's your hard earned money and kindly do not get fooled with such types of organisers who are ready to fool you.

Kindly do not pay the full amount in advance or pay some advance or pay the money until and unless you are confident with that organiser.

This message is for those ORGANISERS who are fooling the flea market vendors and are trying to make easy money by playing cunning tricks and ideas.

Those organisers who are genuinely putting their efforts, hard work and conducting their events shouldn't get offended or affected.

Our continuous efforts to keep you safeguarded from the market related frauds and increase awareness while dealing with such unethical organisers and would request you to ensure that you do not engage in such activities mentioned below:

There are few organisers who have a habit of posting multiple events and their intentions are to fool the vendors and the apartment association as well.

Their main motive / objective is to collect money in advance and then pay to the apartment for conducting the events.

In case if they don't get vendors then they will give excuses to the association and cancel the event.

Similarly they get their events cancelled at the last moment by giving excuses to the stall vendors. As they have collected the full amount in advance so those who have booked have no other choice but to go / participate their event where they actually are conducting or else they will say that they will adjust the stall amount in the next event.

They post multiple events on the same day / date, they get the events done / conducted in one or two apartments and the rest of the events they cancel.
In such cases where the event has not happened the vendors think that the event has happened and they don't risk booking the stalls in the same apartment where they have recently seen the post. It's nothing but to confuse the vendors.

Most of the apartments have banned them due to non payments / last minute cancellations so now they are booking the apartments in different names.

The apartment association / committee members keep on changing every year so it's very easy to fool them since every time they have to deal with a new person.

To avoid being caught they are booking the apartment in various different company names and by sending other persons to get it booked so that they don't come in the picture and get caught.

And then they are posting in the groups and getting the stalls ( vendors ) booked in their real name.

They easily target new vendors by getting their stalls booked by posting their continuous advertisements on social media like BOOKMYSTALL / Facebook / Instagram etc.

New stall vendors very easily fall prey to such attractive advertisements by seeing their posts happening in good apartments.

Even few of the regular vendors are participating
in their events are only encouraging them to do such kind of fraud and illegal activities.

New vendors and regular vendors who are badly in need of events and their livelihood are totally dependent on events have no other choice to fall prey to such organisers events.

These illegal activities have been happening for many years.

Even the association of the apartments are getting fooled since they are not going directly for booking of events and they are booking in different names but not in their real names.
They are sending some other person in a different company name and getting booked.

Flea market is a very unorganised market and there are few organisers who are cheating the apartments and vendors.

BEWARE of such organisers.

Regular stall vendors - By participating and booking their events in good apartments where sales are good, you are only just encouraging them to make quick money and do more such kind of fraud / illegal activities for your own selfishness.

It's your hard earned money and don't be fooled knowingly or unknowingly.

Think before you book a stall.
