✨ LEGO Robotics classes at Vishwa Vidyapeeth IGCSE School! ✨

Since 2022, we’ve been conducting LEGO Robotics classes, and the excitement is real—our kids actually wait for Monday classes! No more Monday morning blues for them! 😄

After a 3-week break (thanks to holidays, and exams), our Grade 1 to 4 students were thrilled to dive back into their LEGO WeDo and Mindstorms EV3 builds.
🚀 Their passion for hands-on STEM learning is contagious, and their smiles say it all!

One of the best moments ? The kids asking us for a full day of LEGO Robotics.
It’s moments like these that remind us why we love what we do—this is more than a job, it’s our passion to inspire the next generation of innovators! 🔧💻

Competitions are always journey with mixed emotions - fun, hardwork, excitement, upskilling students, passionate and super stressful.

This unique opportunity to participate in FLL 2024, Aachen, Germany was another example of all these emotions.

We have realised these are the ones that help students learn new skills, new experiences and leads to exciting wins 😄

Happy to say that we won 3 awards and 2 nominations:
• First Place 🥇 in Innovation Project and Presentation
• Second Place🥈 in Overall Championship
• Third Place🥉 in Robot Run
• Nominations in Robot Design and Core Values

Thanks Aarrav Anil for being the co-mentor. Even with his 12th grade exams and busy schedule, he made sure to teach the students and transfer some of his knowledge.

The journey of the competition was super stressful - Getting consent from the organizers, getting the FLL challenge kit to India, visa, travel, handling school classes with mentoring sessions and several bouts of illness.

But, at the end, looking at the happiness of the Students and the Parents made us forget the stressful journey. This was surely a once-in-a-lifetime learning experience for the students !!!

We got an amazing opportunity to host a well known Japanese mentor in Bangalore.

In 2022, my students represented India in WRO in Germany. Meeting mentors across the world was awesome. One such mentor is Mr. Tetsuya Fukuda - a top mentor from Japan. His teams have participated and won in many International level Robotics competitions.
After we won the first place, he wrote an article as he was amazed with my team's presentation and the 1st team in WRO to score 200 / 200.

Japanese are well know for their technical expertise. Mr. Tetsuya is a teacher/ mentor in school and university. He felt that Japanese education lacks the Computer Science learning. Since India is thriving in IT field, he wanted to visit Bangalore to learn more about Education in India.

We got the opportunity to host him and take him to a few renowned schools and interact with the teachers/ students. He was amazed at the excellent facilities, teachers and how Computer Science and STEM is taught in our schools.

During this time with Mr. Tetsuya, we realised there is so much to learn from each other. Their punctuality, systematic thinking, technical expertise, creativity, innovativeness and the urge to learn.

India, we are growing and progressing. We are going on the right track. But, a little importance to punctuality, basic facilities, organized approach and making sure education is more skill-oriented than marks oriented will surely create a better future.

It was a proud feeling to showcase India to the Japanese. And when he was surprised that India has such good Computer Science education, I felt a lot more prouder of my country.

We are blessed to get this opportunity.

Recognition of our Students by Japanese Robotics mentor.

We met Mr. Tetsuya Fukuda, a Robotics mentor during the WRO 2022 International competition in Germany.

He was so amazed by our Innovative solution of the Smart Spoon for Parkinson's patients that he interviewed our students and published an article in the Japanese paper.
