There are so many product management frameworks that different teams use depending on their organization structure, leadership style, their size and scale of operations, and other such factors.

My meta framework is:
—Building clarity (encourage curiosity)
—Find the right incentives (rewards for learning > rewards for work)
—Encourage judgement (develop the product sense beyond numbers and dashboards)
—Foundations for system thinking (thinking of product’s role in the organizations as a system)

Sometimes I wonder how we select the small or additional university programs for ourselves?

Do we see the merits of learning new concepts and ideas, and it certainly adds value to our resume or profile or even to business proposals? It builds our confidence, and add to our professional skills—all education is welcome.

And once we are into it—we make some lifetime friends, enjoy the food in cafe and canteen, smell lots of books in the university library, walk around in the lanes under sun and shade, build new avenues and explore certain aspects of our life in new ways.

Then I think about how technology conferences are not too different from such university programs—particularly Outcome, and in Chandigarh when we do not have any such events in the city that talk about product management, civic tech, system thinking, content design and strategy, UX and design, leadership, and the why and how we work.

Outcome 2023 becomes part of your resume or profile or business pitch because you will:
