Introducing our Super-abled singers for the launch of SAMAGRATHA - An Inclusive Music Crew!!

🎤🎤 TEJAS SRI DATTA 🎤🎤

Tejas Sri Datta is a special kid who falls under autism spectrum disorder. She is 13 years old and currently studying in class 7 at Dr. MGR Janaki Matriculation school, Chennai.
Teju was diagnosed with autism when she was less than 3 years. She was given Occupational and speech therapy, which continues till date!

She started to read and write both English and Tamil at the age 4 years though she couldn’t understand the meaning of it
She started to hum / sing even before she started speaking.
Teju started singing and performing in front of people without fear despite not being social or communicative.
She can identifying scale and notes of sounds
Presently she is learning carnatic music, hindustani music and western music.

She participated in the Tamil singing reality show Super Singer Junior conducted by Vijay Television at Chennai
She was able to clear 7 level of auditions to reach the top 20 of that season
During her journey at Super Singer Junior 6,
She had the opportunity to perform before the legends like K. S. Chitra ma'am, Shankar Mahadevan sir, SPB charan sir and Kalpana Raghavendar ma'am
She was blessed to perform with legendry singers Dr SP Balasubramaniyam sir and K S Chithra Maam
At the grand finals of the season, she was awarded a cash prize of one lakh by Arun Excello group of companies

Another chapter of her talent:
As part of the journey in Super singer, she also expressed the interest of acting and dialogue deliveries.
She has acted in a short film done on 'Rain water harvesting' directed by Mr. Selvamani and shared the screen with Mounaragam fame Actress Tamilselvi (VijayTV)
She has done a web series called 'Vaal Natchathirangal' (a show to demonstrate good behavior and positive vibes) in her Youtube channel
To exhibit her music interest beyond any language, genres and any constraints, started “Lovingly yours Teju” series where in a song being uploaded on daily basis in her YouTube and Social media pages (Instagram and Facebook)
330+ songs have been performed by her (a song a day)

Awards and Recognition:
She has been awarded with 'Young Achievement award' by Rotary club adyar
She has been awarded as “Special Talent” and invited to perform at VidyaSagar (formerly The Spastics Society of India), Kotturpuram for an event organized by the SCAN group for special people
