The Field of Flight Story

The Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show & Balloon Festival is the Nation’s LARGEST Air Show & Balloon Festival. Held annually over the 4th of July in Battle Creek, Michigan, the event is also Michigan’s LARGEST Air Show, Michigan’s LARGEST Balloon Festival as well as Battle Creek’s Largest Festival/Event. We were voted as the #3 Best Air Show in the United States (USA Today’s 10Best) and were voted the #1 Activity in West Michigan by WZZM-13 Viewers.

Our 2019 Event will be held Wednesday, JULY 3 - Sunday, JULY 4, 2019 at W.K. Kellogg Airport in Battle Creek, Michigan. The 2019 event will feature an AWESOME AIR SHOW, up to 50 Hot-Air Balloons, tons of entertainment, fireworks, Balloon Illumes, Twilight & Night Air Show and more! Our Facebook fans will know all the up-to-date information FIRST and our fan base may even get some unique opportunities. Our 2019 Event promises to be one of the best ones yet. There will be something for everyone. Our entertainment value is UNMATCHED today, so you will want to make sure that you come out on at least one day during our 2019 event. .
